On the 14th chapter and loved every bit of what I have read so far.
The writing's good, the characters are all well fleshed out that is they don't feel like one of those 1d characters that are just there to support the hero,.
And the part I loved the most is that the story is funny and the characters especially the dragon crack me up.
The LITRPG elements are just at the right place and amount, and over all I was disappointed when I reached chapter 14 and found that it was the last, so that should tell you all you need to know about how good the story and the writing is.
Look forward to more of iit, or a lot more of the story xd.

My overall assessment - This is a very good novel. It's still at the early stages, but the shows great promises. Right from the beginning, the author weaves a story that is very difficult to put down. Not many Litrpg stories grab my attention, but this work is able to captivate me right from the word go, it didn't disappoint. No overwhelming level details that takes much away from stories. The story is well written and recommended by me.
Grammar - Excellent. I couldn't find any errors that could affect the flow of the story. I pay great attention to the grammar, and this book is how it's done. The author really did a great job on this.
Story - It's about Tobias Martins, one ofbthe best gamers in the world. He was playing when a portal opened and was taken into a world of fantasy were hemust learn how to survive. This is a beautifully written isekai story that captures attention right from the synopsis, the book is captivating. Once a reader pick it up, it will be hard to put down. Well planned. The storyline is intriguing.
Style - The beautiful story is written in omniscient third person style where we view the fantasy world through the eyes of the various characters involved. Readers are made to feel the emotions and actions of the character's in a good way. With this living fantasy novel, third person style flows freely. The author then made it more wonderful with great attention to the story itself.
Character - They are properly defined by the author. The author is paying great attention to the characters' development as with the case with litrpg/epic fantasy. Proper back stories and attributes make the characters come to life. The MC is a great example of this. Every thing about him shows the excellent work of the author when it comes to character of a story. Well written.

So far I have loved reading this series. It has a unique take on the genre of LitRPG, as well as fun characters. I find it intruiging how the world adds risk to the MC's journey in an organic way, in line with the world's rules. It is different than other books that have read in the same genre, and well worth reading. The characters so far have been fun and light, and the story has taken a turn that I didn't see coming, along with the promise of deep dark secrets in the future. Overall, exactly what I have been looking for in this kind of book. Sometimes the RPG elements of the story can be a bit lengthy, but it is pretty easy to recognize when there is a repeat notification in the MC's messages, so it isn't hard to skim them and find the new ones. They are spaced out well, so you can see which ones might be important. That is really my main critique, though, which is alright by me. It really brings forward an interesting take, and I for one am happy to have found a series that presents something new. Like I said, it is well worth a read.

The story is enjoyable and a different take on the world portal transfer.  Interesting and well written.  As the story coninues it has become better and better.
Well worth the time and effort the author has put in and I hope the 2nd arc is as good as the first one has been.  The really nice thing is that the author is polishing and rewriting the clunks out and making it better for newest readers.

    Title:
One would imagine a dragon being competent. Maybe.
The single fact that we have a dragon clerk advising our player would be worth 5-stars for this novel.
However, on a more serious note, this is a very rare LitRPG. It starts as a VRMMORPG and transitions into Isekai. Never read a novel more literal in it being "portal" genre.
The author has my respect just for this intended or unintended pun. Heck, it's called portal; we may as well see some portals once in a while.
No weird reincarnation. No shaky-feely stuff.
The MC gets thrown into the world and then, as you would expect, gets effed in is bum bum.
    Not literally, but close.
Now, what we should really admire about this story is how ANXIOUS it makes you. You can easily imagine yourself in place of the MC. I've never found this feeling so vivid before. Being thrown in a barn half-naked and thinking, "well, what I would in his place?" is pure gold. But, again, this review is not coherent enough to explain how GOOD this stuff is.
I'm usually soft with reviews, but this novel makes me want to go back to my previous reviews and lower them to make this one stand out.
I swear, if this novel keeps it up like this, it's first-page material EASY.
It has a distant Japanese drama taste, for certain aspects, with none of the caveats of the light novel genre.
Characters up to chapter twelve are pure gold, even if we have only seen the dragon and the MC so far.
Style is good and extremely vivid.
Grammar. Dude, a story this good could be written with e-girl lower extremities and would still be terrific; thankfully, the author has good grammar too!
    Story:
I have seen complaints about the suspension of belief and the MC jumping into rigging his booth.
I want to say that not every story is meant to be H.P. and the rational whatever. And THANK GOD FOR IT.
Sometimes people will make stupid choices. The MC is a little gullible, so what? Go outside, ask people what they would do. I guarantee you that not everyone thinks every step

Rating based on objective evaluation, though I personally enjoyed it, too.
Excellent mix of genres, with elements of portal fantasy (isekai), mystery, fantasy, and gamelit. The mystery here is well done and key. It gets the readers into the story and pulls them along. Might even be the best part of the work. For me, much more than the game world, the mystery itself is really driving me to turn the page and see the next chapter.
Story is solid. There's excellent world building right in the first few chapters. The setup is well done, and for those who like to jump into the action quickly, the story soon runs into mystery and a new world. Plenty of RPG facets for fans of litrpg.
Characterization is another strong point. The main protagonist is a bit bland, typical of the role, but I think there are hints of him developing more personality as he goes. I certainly hope so, anyway. The dragon, on the other hand, is a breath of fresh personality that really spices things up. Immediately lovable. Side characters are also portrayed well. Looking forward to meeting more people.
For those who understand story development, having the MC go back to level 1 and fumble around is a good thing. The heart of any good story is struggle.
Style and prose, for the most part, are strong. And it improves over time.

I mean it in the way of the system and how it's set up. This is probably the first time I've seen it put up in this way, and I honestly have to wonder why nobody has done it like this before. Would have given it 5/5 from that alone.
However... there is one point that I need to say put down the score for me. And that would be the oOoOoo thing(ignore the capital letters in this one). An example of just what I would be talking about would be when the MC gets hurt in some way and says "Ow." Yet, instead of that, the MC says "Owwww" Instead. That... does not work for me.
Going away from that rant, I'll give this a 4.5/5. Loved it except for that one detail.

I'm writing this review after reading chapter 10.
I'll be upfront and say that I do not usually read LitRPGs, and do not really understand the core systems behind how these narratives are structured. So this review will focus only on the story itself.
    Overall
The story of Epic Blade was an entertaining one, and I found myself clicking the Next Chapter button after almost every chapter.
Whilst the story is solid, there is room for improvement. There are many elements of Epic Blade that could be polished to bring this story to its fullest potential.
    Style
Clean style told through third person omnipresent. Wonderfully executed, and one of the strongest elements of the story itself. The author is able to fully utilize the POV choice to allow the reader to experience this fantasy world in an impressive fashion.
    Grammar
The grammar was decent, but it needs some work. Whilst there are many instances of grammar missteps, these can easily be fixed with a good grammar pass. I didn't find myself pulled out of the story all that much.
    Story
I enjoyed it! A great epic fantasy tale that hits all the right notes when it comes to a fantasy story. There were some moments when I felt the narrative elements could be better executed, but this came down to more personal taste than any real shortcomings from the author.
    Character
The strong point of the story. The cast of characters are interesting, and as a reader you find yourself easily engaged with their journey. An absolute highlight of reading Epic Blade.

Structure, Side characters, Plot, and descriptions seem decent, but the Worldbuilding and MC is iffy at best. I mean you would think the pro gamer isekai thing would equate into some type of advantageous position in his next life right... Wrong! If anything his former life is a detriment to his new one. Also he doesn't seem to have a decent plan/wisdom to back up his stubborn refusal of other's advice and assistance. It's too early to call him hopeless but the MC definitely has to grow out of this reactive learning bit he keeps doing. He hasn't really reflected on his on his shortcomings too well and  so far makes really dumb decisions consistently.
    Spoilers past here:
Skips tutorial and He gets killed at lvl 1 (20 is super high lvl here) and decides to go get revenge the moment he comes back. LIKE WHAT? I'm willing to bet everyone else is at least lvl 3 considering they have been here for their ENTIRE LIVES, could kill him with bare hands most likely. Then he rejects a cosmic entity's advice in favor of a playstyle preference he had as a gamer. Even though literally Zero of his Sword Experience transferred with him... Dumb. He doesn't practice, train, or scheme. He's just bumbling about gulliblly getting pointed to and fro in a world that's already killed him once.
Summary: Has a promising premise and there should be a lot of character development to expect from the MC when the plot armor comes off.

Writing is engaging and solid, structure and grammar are excellent, and I quite like the plot. The setting is pretty bog standard so far but that's to be expected without more chapters to give more details and interaction. So far the side characters are more than window dressing.
But I just cannot get over the MC supposedly being a pro gamer with an exclusive elite rig worth more than most houses with signed agreements and ndas jumping onto the "oooh, let me illegally modify my reason for being with shady instructions i downloaded from the dark web while breaking my nda bandwagon at the drop of a hat" it just doesn't make sense in context.
As well as his immediate dismissal of the tutorial prompts. Pro gamers know you get rewards for completing the new player quests.
The system has good potential and It gives me great hope this doesn't turn into a numbers game power fantasy like many other promising litrpg works I have read.
i like the mc in the abstract, but the level of suspension of disbelief required is too much for me... although there may be something to be said for mind controlling elves... I'll come back and read more after more chapters are released. I really did enjoy this work and I would recommend it to fans of the genre
Keep writing, and I'll keep reading!
