Description

There are no super-heroes or super-villains. Yet… John is fighting his way into an early grave when the one man he never wanted to see again puts a gun back in his hand. He has answers John never wanted, about the things he drank to forget. Tim has spent his whole life dreaming of being a hero. Stuck living in a trap house, spending his moms blood-money to feed himself, that dream feels childish. But even after the impossible happens and saving strangers becomes simple—living in that home, isn’t. Eren knows he’s being watched, but it’s getting harder to prove if his stalkers are real, or just another fragment of his broken mind. The patterns are too deliberate, the pressure too painful, even if there are pieces he can never hope to explain. The universe has always been a nexus of incredible, unexplainable powers. Now it’s all flooding back into a world that’s barely ready. Governments and corporations scramble to understand and control the change, while ordinary people are left to try and survive the fallout. -Readers can expect- • A steady burn of ever escalating conflict as the story explores how the world changes from mundane to truly extraordinary. • Multiple POVs destined to collide. • A multi volume saga of over 575K words complete with regular weekday updates. • Drama, tragedy, action, comedy, and slice of life. • A universe that fuses the classic comic book campiness of Invincible, the gritty realism of The Boys, and SCP inspired mystery. • Hard sci-fi worldbuilding all the way from advanced tech, to the supernatural.

There is some editing required but this is a phenomenally well written story. The world build is continuous, the characters are well crafted and their interactions well plotted and exquisitely directed.  The timeline still bothers me because until I see an official one I can't be sure I'm right about it but that adds to my desire for more. This is not a happy  pleasant kids show world,  it is a place where evil seems more normal than good will.
I dont know why it is requiring 200 words minimum, I am fairly certain that the last time I left a review I only required 50 words. Either way I hate having required minimum word counts applied to me as it stunts my willingness to write.
Anyway this story has been crafted using a high quality writing style that made reading a pleasure to experience. I look forward to future installments.
I am irritated by minimum word requirements, I am irked. Saddly I need to continue typing words and sentences into the box in order to force the count to rise until after an excessive amount of otherwise irrelevant sentences provide me with a sufficient quantity of organized letter combinations.

Loving the superhero stories I'm getting so far. This is a very clean and captivating start. I really like the dialogue. You root for the characters and you get to see multiple perspectives. I'm a sucker for multi-POV so this is right up my alley. SO glad there's lots more. Keep it up!
The style of this story is interesting, there's three perspectives and they all have unique storylines. Sometimes it gets a bit much to remember, like I'm reading three different stories at once. I like this story enough to read carefully and remember details so I'm not missing anything later. I feel like the payoff will be excellent for those who are able to do that. It's maybe less of a dopamine fueled casual read that dominates this site.
The story has the same review as the style pretty much! You need to give your attention and trust to the author and it will be rewarded.
I haven't found grammar issues or at least nothing major or distracting enough for me to notice.
I really like the characters, especially John. The characters' interpersonal relationships are captivating and I could probably read this story if it was just that the whole time.

Having multiple PoVs is a treat, and I love the way everyone is written.  It helps that there's definitely a theme of "show, don't tell" throughout the work.  There's a lot of thought and passion put into this work and I can't wait to see more.  I also love that you guys included a Toyota Corolla.

A wondrous multi-POV story. It has a bit of something for most readers. Great characters, underlying mysteries a world that just grows and grows. The authors knowledge about many different subjects, really shines through. One of those stories that for me. Makes seeing a new chapter released bring a bit of extra happiness to the day!

Overall, this is incredible fiction. I find myself frustrated by some of the characters at times, but in the best possible way. That frustration feels intentional, because they are written with such depth and authenticity that their decisions, flaws, and motivations feel real. They are not just moving through the plot, they are actively shaping it with their own beliefs and limitations, which makes every interaction more meaningful.
The style is fantastic. It is gritty, grounded, and immersive without feeling forced. There is a weight to the tone that fits the world perfectly, and it pulls you into the tension rather than just describing it. The writing never gets in its own way, which makes the experience smooth and engaging.
Grammar and technical quality are excellent. I rarely, if ever, noticed mistakes. If there are any, they are so minor that they do not disrupt the reading experience at all.
The story itself is compelling and layered. It feels like a world similar to our own, but with deeper technological and societal tensions slowly unfolding beneath the surface. There is a strong sense that everything is building toward something larger, and that anticipation keeps me hooked.
The characters are the highlight. They feel alive, complex, and evolving. I fully expect them to grow in surprising ways as the story continues, and I am genuinely excited to see where it goes next.

Honestly, give it a chance. This book is a bit slow in the beginning, but it is well worth it. Aaron is by far my favorite of the characters, but the other two are also great.
    spoiler:
I’m curious, because so far only one of the characters is actually a super, and the others are just in highly dangerous situations.

Can't believe I'm first to comment.
I'm only writing this to encourage the author to write more. I NEED MOREEE.
It's genuinely so good. None of the side or main characters are flat. So far it's a short story but you can really feel the depth in all of the characters.
Grammar is good. Nothing more to say. I'm fully immersed in the story.
The plot is great. We are following 3 characters. Every switch kinda gets me pissed, because im invested in the story I was reading but a few paragraphs in and I'm already invested in the new POV.
I apologize for such a trash review, but I genuinely promise you it's a good read. Enjoy. N author please make more
    Take care guys

A slow burn, in the best way. The writers have an extensive amount to illustrate to get the full understanding of the characters and surroundings. This in time makes you like the characters and attach to them even more. Exceptionally descriptive and immersive, you can clearly picture the words coming to life. A superhero adventure that can appeal to everyone. You will be longing for the next chapter.

Happened to hear about this story in the RRWG Discord and decided to check it out.  The chapters are much longer than average on RR, so make sure you have a bit of time to dive in.  Overall, the story is off to a good start and looks to be worth a longer read!
Let me break down the score I've given:
    Style:
Evocative and engaging are good overall descriptors.  I'm personally not a fan of present tense, but the author is generally consistent with it and it works better in some places than others.  Totally a matter of personal preference, though.  The overall impression is good, with more showing than telling, and a pace that keeps things moving despite the length of the chapters.
    Story:
I'm enjoying it so far - the three main characters have been introduced, and each is clearly facing different and interesting challenges.  So far, there's little to connect with the "Devils, aliens, superpowers" mentioned in blurb - but there have been a few hints.  It looks to be a slow burn, which I'm on board with.
    Characters:
There's a nice diversity to the three protagonists and each has a distinct feel to their introductory chapters.  Eren is my clear favorite so far, I found the narrative of his anxieties to be very compelling and interesting.  Looking forward to reading more of his chapters.
    Grammar:
Nothing egregious, and it remains easy to read.  I did spot a number of typos/minor stuff, but the author seems to be proactive about addressing reader feedback so I'm sure this will continue to improve over time.

This is an expertly written story, but it suffers from following three POVs in parallel - which means that each of them takes too long to bring any plot point to conclusion.I still recommend giving it a try, it IS very high quality - just I, personally, lost patience at chapter 41.Everything below this will contain spoilers, so be warned. I'll try to keep them as mild as possible, but they will be there.SPOILERS AHEAD ------------------------Until about chapter 30, we're reading three entirely separate stories. Nothing linking them together at all. Which was quite irritating, because Imeannothing at all is linking them - they're entirely different in characterization, tone, even genre. We have the "grizzled veterans taking on the forces of hell" story, the "kids kidnapped for government experimentation (expect torture/suffering porn)" one, and the "campy superhero kid" one, complete with teenage romance ignorance. Happy to see that (roughly) at chapter 30 we do get a hint for how the stories will link up, and I'd be curious to see it... except.Except the torture/suffering story. REALLY well written, but when reading something like that I want to get through the torture/suffering part to get to the good, redeeming, recovering bits. I do not want to read 1-2 chapters of the characters suffering, then some chapters on superhero kid fighting a mecha, a bit more on the grizzled veterans dealing with their trauma, then back to a bit more suffering, followed by the veterans again...Every time a chapter from the torture/suffering story comes up, I think "oh god, not again, do I really want to keep reading"... and when chapter 41 was another one of those, and we're STILL not past the initial horrible stuff? Author's notes can promise "it's not all torture porn for this character" all they want, this is too long for me.Maybe I'll pick the story up again later (it is REALLY well written), but for now I'm done. It's not fun to read it anymore, and I don't want to have to force
