Description
After Dungeon Master 07's request to the Council of Dungeon Masters for yet another of them to be released into the wild to aid in their quest to retrieve the authorities left behind by the Goddess from the wrong hands into which they had fallen, new Dungeon Masters were created and sent to reincarnate into the world of Fiendfell. Thus, somewhere in the Waldow Kingdom, our protagonist was born—or, to be exact, the first incarnation of her.
Welcome back to Fiendfell Dungeon Master 08!
The story follows the seventh incarnation of Dungeon Master 08 as she spawns into Fiendfell as the daughter of the Weiß formerly royal family, a family she had already crossed path with in a previous incarnation.
Synopsis Book 02:
I cannot claim to know much about her personally, but as a Dungeon Master, I do know this: she was the first Dungeon Master to reincarnate in a female vessel. Her reputation precedes her, with tales of her atypical personality circulating among us. However, as a human and adventurer, most of what I learned came from the legends about her. She was one of the earliest adventurers, and the only one ever said to be capable of exterminating dungeons. The stories tell of her time as a queen, ruling over vast lands from Ironhaven to Eastbourne, from Middlesbrough to Dalhurstover. Yet despite her throne, she wandered the wilds of Fiendfell atop her giant red wyvern, free from the conventional burdens of royalty.Upon learning of the demise of a fellow Dungeon Master after he found an authority in Quel'Thalas—the land of the elves—and tried to recover it, Dungeon Master 07 entrusted me, Dungeon Master 05, also known as Licht, the Lonely Light of Fiendfell, with a mission. I was tasked with contacting the only Dungeon Master who could safely retrieve that authority from its current wielder. To the world, she is known by many names: Queen, Kingslayer, Kinslayer. But to me, Licht the adventurer, she is Arianna. And to me, Dungeon Master 05, she is Dungeon Master 08—the strongest and oldest of all Dungeon Masters.

- PholtRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5Having been released from Hell itself, the MC and her friends have a mission, and an immense debt of gratitude keeping them faithful to it. They have to unseal a God who will end up destroying the world they are in.
All this has the markings of an Evil Cult, except for the fact that the "members" tend to go about accomplishing their overarching goal in different - but coordinated - ways. The MC thus far seems to be going down a more typical adventurer / traveler route with her assumed role in the Cult.
While it's too early in the story to tell for certain, she, and the cult members as a whole, seem have a somewhat of a moral compass, not being keen on hurting innocent bystanders, while not caring beyond the practical reasons about criminals, or those getting in their way.
The MC in particular regards the suffering and death of other people right in front of her with a mix of indifference and apathy.
Apart from the anticipated external conflict with the powers that be in this world, Arianna also has to contend with her memories from her past incarnations. Will Arianna break free of her past lives, or will she succumb to "madness", and betray the cult?
All this makes this story stand out to me.
The writing style is rather verbose in some places, sometimes reiterating descriptions with small wording changes, dragging the scenes out. It is especially noticeable during fight scenes, where the verbosity at times clashes with the high-paced nature of a typical fight scene. This verbosity sometimes leads to a convoluted sentence here and there, but such are rare, and the author does consider the edit suggestions.
Overall, the writing style paints the scenes well, though, and does not make reading unenjoyable by any means. The issues seem to have improved slightly in the latest chapters as well. (As of writing this review)
Grammar-wise there are a couple typos and missing or superflouos punctuation marks, but nothing drastic, and it's all very much readable. Not a real issue
