I thought being laid off from my job was the greatest of my worries but I just had to wake up in a ship's cockpit after my space game crashed. Now I have no map, no friends and no money.

But that's ok, I've started from the bottom before! With my starter ship I will scour through space as a Mercenary and maybe even start up a Mercenary Company while I'm at it! This ain't my first rodeo in space after all!

Except... Apparently my crew members are weird?

The guy who bumped into me yesterday was found sliced up and floating outside the space station.

The girl who tried to honeytrap me was reported missing with only a finger found in an alley.

And then that merchant who scammed me had his entire ship blasted into bits by unknown vessels the very next day.

Some people say my crewmates were behind it but they must be mistaken, right?

I only know one thing for sure...

It's quite easy to get into and intriguing enough without getting too deep into technicalities that binging this stuff is almost inevitabale, actions sequences are quick and descriptive yet do not drag on , lewd stuff is brought in just enough that it feels like a part of the story(as it should), rather than just for the sake of lewd. Kudos to the author, this has been a fun and entertaining romp thus far. Sadly I have binge read the whole story so far in a few days and I am now bereft awaiting the next chapters. Not fussed about the sex side of it though understand how it is used for the development of the story/crew dynamic.
Authors notes in other stories I have found to be a superfluous pain in the a$$ when they should have just written a fuller chapter, here using it for the characters personal logs is brilliant, funny and deepens the crews character, love it..
Looking forward to the inevitable crew/company expansion. Will our favourite mechanic get Tera's loving? Will they end up with class 4/5/6 AI's designed in house? Will a guest quarter be turned into a stable for a certain Centaur. Will Mara become the company doctor and intelligence officer?
I was strapped in and hooked on for the this crazy ride, I wish the Author well, but not on webnovel. Devastated not to read this to a conclusion

So I have read the entire story up to most recent chapters and I'm really enjoying the story and I'm looking forward to the next chapters to come out. I do like the story progression and the character interaction my only complaint is that the author gives semi decent character descriptions like hair color and gender maybe the lips but that is it I would like more like eye color facial looks are have a link to another sire for ai generated pictures of them so I can immerse myself more into the story

The name of this story makes it seem like its one of those low effort light novels with barely any depth.
This isn't the case surprisingly, there is quite a lot of story here, its well written with minimal grammar mistakes, the storytelling ain't half bad, the world seems well thought out and none of the characters as of yet has made me want to gouge my eyes out of pure cringe.
At the point where I am at the story where the MC has met what I think is the first crewmate, the worldbuilding has been good and with shockingly few infodumps and most of the character interactions were quite okay and well written, and the dialogue flows quite well actually, and there has been no overly horny stuff (yet).
Overall I went in expecting shit and found... well not gold, its still kinda ealry for that, but Its definitively worth a read if you like Sci-Fi.

The title was enough for me to give this story a try. Not super deep, yet, or terribly complex but a fun, joyous read that has me always eager for one more chapter. It is yummy popcorn that I keep taking another handful of. The story flows fast and easy. The battle scenes are reliably dynamic and the occasional "painting" narratives are well done and fit in the story. Though personally, I feel that the elf is being a little neglected. I am certain the author will remedy that in the future. Worth reading and enjoyable.

I love space stories like this, there are too few! The initial setting is suitably mysterious and the MC isn’t a clueless pushover, while also not getting any crazy OP abilities. I absolutely love the food and cooking aspect despite it being a bit unbelievable at times, but that’s also part of the fun.
I would like to see some more world building though.
