While humanity enjoys paradise in the sanctuary planet called Earth, advanced humanoid robots called Hunters act as humanity's foot soldiers in space, exploring the galaxy and performing the tasks that Humanity sets out for them.

The story follows the Hunter designated as NeoFrame-187 as he fulfills contracts across a wide range of planets, learning about the galaxy and his place in it along the way.
