- JoaryRoyal Road★ 1.0So badly formatted and such atrocious grammar I can't understand what is happening. Very hard to read. I am two chapters in, and the first chapter is in humongous font and the next is in a tiny font, paragraphs aren't things, and every sentence runs on and on, and half the time doesn't make sense.
The chapters are incredibly short, and are really just short scenes, maybe a hundred or two words each.
I don't mean to demean the author, but I don't feel that they have an adequate skill level in english to really consider putting their writing online - RomshRoyal Road★ 1.0First of all, the author needs to fix his/her grammar. There are a lot of things I don't really understand, and it breaks the immersion. I would suggest to find someone who is proficient enough in English and ask that person to proofread your story.
Now, I don't really like the style. Honestly, it is pretty bad if you think about it objectively. Just read the story and you will understand what I mean (I hope you will. I will pluck my hair out if you don't).
At this point in the story, I don't see any character development at all. I mean, we're three chapters in and there is already a different POV? And I'd also like to mention that every chapter has about 100-300 words. Now, I don't know about you, but I didn't even understand who the hell the main character is (Excuse me for my inappropriate language).
Now, all in all, this is a pretty bad story (Not trying to say the author is bad, just giving my opinion). I think the author should get some more experience before he starts publishing his writing online. I also recommend for the author to go and learn some more English (Especially grammar and getting some more vocabulary would be nice). Yes, it may take some time, but this is a slow process. I, myself, am living (And was born) in a non-english speaking country. The author needs some practice, that's for sure.
