Wanting to play it safe and scam people out of their money with fake magic and cool (if cheep) nick nacks Nicholas thinks his life gonna be simple. Magic has a way of being real if you sell it well enough and physics toys have lots of implications in a medieval world, so good ol Nick has a hairball on his hands.
