Description

When Sam leaves for what should have been a routine business trip, he tells his daughter, “Daddy will be back soon. I promise.” But then a fracture in reality tears his hotel room from the world and hurls him into a mysterious, otherworldly forest, and that promise becomes his only certainty-or perhaps his obsession- in a land he does not understand.

Now stranded in a realm ruled by untamed nature and sentient alien species with unfamiliar customs and laws, Sam must navigate a medieval society filled with monsters, feudal politics, and the ancient, binding power of promises.

Can he face his guilt, his past, and the growing fear that he might never return?
