The story has a good base start. The MC is reltivly relatable and doesn't go OP mode in the first dozen chapters which a lot of novels this type do, and do it horably.
A litle problem could be that the MC a bit to sudeny trusts the saved side caracter and starts living with him within about 2 ch., which acording to our MC non stupidity should have not happend so quickly.
Author! Dont mind my rant! Just there to fill words.

The story has a decent pace, doesn't really much about or lead you on for too long, nor does it feel like you're strapped to a rocket wondering what the hell is going on.
My only complaints so far these:
-Some of the chapters are rather short.
Most of the chapters I have read so far by chapter 10 are below 2k words, which is fine but my recommended is usually 3k, the bare minimum in my opinion should always be 1500, and so far I haven't noticed any of the chapters going below that.
I recommend 3k words because it gives you the ability to spend a few days writing a chapter, reviewing, editing, and rewriting the chapter and making sure it contains enough meat inside of it to be worth waiting a week or so for an update, as if you spend a single day writing 1500 words or so then upload it immediately you don't really have time to review your writing before you upload it, meaning you can miss problems or write something without really thinking about how it comes off.
-Censoring, and the way you swap from censoring to not censoring
This is apparent in a few cases where the writer censors a swear with a *, in a book generally if your characters are swearing you don't really need to censor it unless its for comedic purposes.
Such as: "YOU %!@#&%* PIECE OF $&!% WHEN I GET MY HANDS ON YOU I'M GOING TO %^@# YOUR %!#@ING SKULL INTO THE-" Jeremiah looked down at the man as he began hurling insult after insult with such language that it'd make a sailor blush, looking around him he had to suppress a blush at the massive amount of profanity the man was using. ""
Now, if you're going for a 16+ story, or something appealing to younger audiences then these censors also work, because you are censoring in a way that keeps the book swear/slur free while also showing that the person swearing is very obviously going over the top.
However, when the book still has the swear such as 'F*ck!' you aren't censoring at all, you are just breaking the reading flow of the story and making the reading
