In a world revolving around magic, Conner grew up neglected for having zero aptitude for manipulating mana, crippling his confidence and sense of self-worth. Despite the relentless taunting, he trains restlessly in hopes of learning how to influence the unresponsive mana, to become a mage, but his efforts proved fruitless. After his village was decimated and left to burn, where even the strongest mages were defeated, he abandoned the only place he knew as home and passed out in the wilderness. After waking up in a mysterious cottage, he was offered a chance to train under an elder to awaken a dormant power that could shatter his preconceptions.
