The Untrodden Path

Some wiseman once said, "We are all the protagonist of our own story". The problem is he didn't include the proper tags, few people can say their lives are truly worth living and even fewer have no complaints, psychopaths excluded.

Yet we still keep living, still keep going, still delude ourselves that it's all good and nothing potentially bad will happen. Yet sometimes it does, it comes like an extinction level event and wipes all of your delusion and awakens you to the hard and cold reality.

Life is Pointless... Yet we all keep going even, knowing that, we trudge through the pointless monotony of existence and the few lucky of us can and will eventually find something truly worth living for, the rest of us poor sods, either have to let simple impulses like "being a good cog in society" keep us moving, but some of us don't have a small light to guide us.

All that we have is the abyssal darkness to keep us company, to fill the void and prevent us from imploding in sheer insanity, yet to the rest our reason for existence is to be looked down upon, shunned and destroyed.

You know what the funny thing is? Most of it if not all... is their fault, and some people want a reckoning.
