I'll take anything above a C+. Cool? Cool.Roy is a college freshman trying to pass his classes. He does alright when he's awake, with decent wits and an average level of charm. But when he's asleep?That's when the magic happens.No, literally.

Ostrandfeelslike a game, but it isn't. It's another world he only sees when dreaming, and for Roy, it's an experience like no other, with sword skills and fireballs. He's not alone, but he doesn't know that yet. And they are closer than he realizes. Ostrand is a home to many, but only the lucky ones get to experience it for themselves.

But why Roy? Who knows? Maybe Ostrand has designs of its own and pulls people to fix problems. Or it could be that Ostrand and Earth are magically linked. Whatever the case, at least he has an inventory, which is more than most can say.

I'm writing this story with the idea that chapters are kinda like "glimpses" into Roy's character and life. It's a fantasy no doubt, but sometimes there's a slice-of-life feel to the university chapters and more fantasy lean during the Ostrand chapters. The system is also fairly light, as it's the means for the character to grow stronger, like notifications and flavor texts. It's not a "numbers go up and look at my insane stats--I could conquer a country." Imagine Sword Art Online, but without all the peril and fear of death...for now, anyway.
