The Unending Flesh

The main character is a nameless orphan, one of hundreds populating the slums of the massive city "New Rise". On one rainy day, while he's hiding from the rain, the structure he's hiding in get's destroyed in a fight between two awakened fighters, and he is mortally wounded. As he lays there, drenching in rain, dying, he notices a soft pulsing red light coming from his right hand. An awakening stone. The rain carries his blood into his hand, and he awakens.

The only problem is, he's no normal human child, and his core abilities might be more than he bargained for.
