The Legend of Axiom
Community Rating
Description
Anon wasn't a scientist or researcher. He lived a rather mediocre life.
It wasn't that he was lazy. It was more so that he felt all things that could be accomplished with effort were too boring. He could train all his life to be a professional athlete. But he would barely be performing outside the confines of a normal human. He thought that if there was a way to train beyond human limits. He might be interested.
He had three conditions he set for himself that he often referred to as the 'protagonist halo'. The first condition was it had to be something only he could do. The second condition was that it had to be mechanically interesting. The third condition was that it couldn't be temporary power.
What is the point of becoming the strongest being in reality if you die from old age shortly afterwards? These stringent requirements didn't align with reality which is why he lived a normal life. But people around him thought he was hiding a big secret. He appeared quite mysterious.
In reality... He was hiding a rather big secret!

- PxslRoyal Road★ 0.5Maybe that’s the point of the story but even then it could’ve been told better. I can’t tell whether you’re trying to explore metaphysics and ontology or if you just want to write a Gary Stu because you picked the most untraditional way possible to write a power fantasy but it’s still just a really bad power fantasy.
