One of my favourite fantasy stories ever. Great world building and plot progression. No overwhelming use of RPG elements which works well with this story. Read the first book on kindle and can't wait for the next! It will be interesting to see what challenegs Yu'er goes through moving forward.

I love this story. Overall, I think it works better with the starting age of 15 instead of the original 9, so good job. I think the compounding Qi per meridian math is a bit off, but that is just me nit picking and not a genuine complaint. I see it has been 5 months since the last update, can we please have more??????

there are a lot of cultivation novels that completely abandon care for everyone except the mc. There is something freeing to this but it also often has a sort of nasty toxic aftertaste to me. Giving the feeling of a young man who will bend over backwards in self justification. Yu is introspective but never looses herself she is kind but rarely naive. Reading this book give all the same face slapping highs you look for, and she is definitely on the way to becoming OP, but it feels like the nature of the world rather then something purely focused on the powertrip. I also appreciate the kindeness her ability to look past slights to core motivations and handle many situations that way. A wonderful MC and cultivators that are human. Realism and fantasy in a pleaset balance. Definitely still a power fantasy but focused on someone you might actually want to have power.

I like the story though.
Grammar at first was sometimes really annoying at first.
Partway through the story, I had given 2,5 stars, but I am beginning to untroubledly enjoy the story, now that the present tense mode is mostly changed to past mode and no switching between them occurs.
The 5 stars I give now because I want to read more!

Note that the book 2 here (as of July 5th 2022) has the MC at age 9.. but it's changed to 14 in book 1 and will be updated.
That was my only issue and he is resolving it.

So far this is looking like a solid if familiar in setting etc cultivation story. I'm quite enjoying and wish I'd found it at 100 chapters rather than 20. I like my MCs to suffer and grow. So far she's suffered and is now being forced to grow to be able to handle the challenges her enemies throw at her. So long as the author doesn't rely too much on luck, cheat abilities or other people to help her out I think this will become a very good story. It does feature a few spelling and grammar issues but these could be fixed easily enough with the free version of Grammarly or reader feedback.

I have really enjoyed this series. The MC is very likable and actually an intelligent and nice person. She has a great many advantages but they are balanced by the struggles she faces. The world building is good and we see a wider world in each book. One of my favorites in the last several years.

It might be interesting to read more about the enchanting but really looking forward to the spirit realm I know she was not looking forward to killing anyone but I think she has gotten past that and might have a few targets that she will need to seek out.

The book was one of the first I saw on this sigh and freedcats was the first author I followed, I have read this book from start to finish 3 times and am waiting with anticipation for volume three of both the invasion series and this series. I got into the litrpg genre because of this book and cant wait for the future.
