Description

Book One is available onAmazonandAudible, narrated by Daniel Thomas May!

Updates Monday and Thursday.

The world devolved into chaos as a game-like system reduced the population to a series of statistics and screens. Confusion reigned as everyone struggled to survive in this new reality. Everyone but one man. Anthony Franklin had a secret. One that gave him an edge. He had lived through this exact series of events... 99 times in a row.

Anthony needed to take advantage of all he accomplished over the past centuries: every play, shortcut, and strategy, to save as many lives as possible by the end. He would contend with vicious boss monsters, elude the ever watching eyes of the system administrators, and watch his back from the scheming players that wanted the game to go their way no matter the cost.

In a world where every individual has their own goals, dreams, and fears, shepherding them won't be easy. Anthony must use all of his considerable experience to gain a powerful class and put the scared populace on the right track and take out threats before they become too big. There will be no more chances; win or lose, his 100th run shall be his last.

I had hoped this series was done but it's not so I must stay glued to the screen for the next chapters! (The ones on Patreon on worth the $$) I could read this series for another 10,000 pages if the author continues. I love the mix of things not working and things playing out the same. The main character has a major cheat code. He could keep going to various locations in the world that are unaffected by the changes in the run, I love it! It reminds me of "The Perfect Run" Where the main character is delightful to follow and a little broken inside from all the lives lived.

TLDR: 5/5 Not unique, but a good, standard regression story. Highly recommend.
100th run is a regression story following a telekinetic on his last loop to save humanity. It contains all the usual precognition, uber-fast leveling, timeline deviations, and a few lesser-used tropes that enhance the story.
For example, the lone wolf thing is prevalent, but not overbearing. In many such stories, the events devolve into a single-player run to the finish line at the expense of most of humanity. Usually, a side character or two get dragged along for the ride, but that is it. In this story, there aren't any hints that Anthony will participate in a group (despite mention of 40+ member raids in the future), but he is actively organizing the critical members of humanity in a way that takes advantage of the butterfly effect. A breath of fresh air and fun to read.
Unlike many others, this book has excellent monster design. Each enemy is interesting, unique, has abusable weaknesses, and is just damn cool. Not much else to say. It's clever.
Grammer is fine. It is obvious that the author is a native English speaker -- or native adjacent.
The characters are a solid meh/10. They exist, but as is often the case in these stories, they lack...hmm...desire I suppose. Anthony for example, is a textbook looper. He is going to save as many people as he can. Why? He is isn't a psychopath, duh!...Sigh.
Anthony hasn't displayed much desire towards certain build paths, saving certain people, or leaving certain people to die. Morbid? maybe, but it may be interesting to see if he intentionally leaves a troublesome serial killer alive to adhere to his moral code, even if it causes problems in the future.
The side characters aren't much better. Servicable, I suppose. The most intriguing character so far has been a certain lady who is not Anthony's oompa loompa. Unlike everyone else. She wants things. One thing, but eh, semantics. At the end of the day, the focus of this story isn't the characters an

I can just tell that this is going to be my new favorite novel on here! The MC seems so funny and so far the interactions have felt very real. The system notifications do feel a bit clunky however, they could definitely use less line spacing. Actually it could all use less line spacing

Character: I really love how Ant actually cares about individual human beings even though he lived through probably hundreds of years of trauma already. Also the romance between Ant & Sara is cute AF! I need a Sara in my life 😭. One complaint is to maybe not make scenes about how Kayla and Jeff loves each other every interaction?
Story: Story is good, nothing too crazy. Regressor type books are my favourite, and this one is certainly one of the best!
Style: I am not a connoisseur on English writing styles- I prefer math to english- but to my untrained eye its good.
Grammar: Impeccable, I've observed almost no errors in the book, syntax & structure is fluid.

Basically just gonna say that I love it. I love returner type stories, I love real world type settings, I love fun/cocky/sliiiiiightly crazy MCs, and I love it when demons aren't the only dirtbags in town. Just hits the mark for me on a lot of points. Binged what was out of it in a few days, and gonna keep reading it quick as I can as it comes out.

I love these regressor stories, but I wasn’t expecting too much. Honestly I was pleasantly surprised by the quality. This story isn’t trying too hard, yet keeps it fun and engaging. So far the pacing has been tight but not overbearing and the grammar has been clean. I’m looking forward to more!

Timeloop stories are, let's face it, a dime a dozen. And while I don't dismiss the efforts of the authors who write them, most are indulgent fix fics or broody edgelord power fantasies. I can count the number of really good time loop stories I've read on both hands, and this is shaping up to be another one of them.
Style-wise, this is a pretty good story. It's sort of conventional in this aspect as it's a time loop litrpg story,  but it does handle the litrpg element well in that it's seen but not terribly intrusive. Solid but not exceptional.
Grammar? I didn't notice any mistakes, not even the awkward turns of phrase or oddness that you sometimes see in a well-written story by someone who is coming from an exotic genre, so I'll give it 5/5.
The story is extremely well written, an interesting premise for the time loop with complications that seem more natural than they do manufactured, the motives for all involved seem realistic and not overblown. It's a nice mix between the regressor having advantages due to their foreknowledge and still actually being challenged in a way that seems to make sense.
Characterization, though, is definitely the strong point for this story. Every character encountered feels like a real person rather than a cardboard-cutout NPC, a designated victim, or an actor filling a mindless trope. The regression is neither a bleeding heart completely tormented by every setback or loss, nor a machine -like 'hard man making hard choices while hard'. There are people with valuable talents beside the regressor, and their personality is important both in terms of manipulation and in how the MC relates to them. But at the same time, that sense of realism and scale exists - no matter how good the MC's cheats are, he isn't just coasting in his fights, and no matter how evil or good or talented other characters are, they seem to fit in the same universe.
Overall, as I said - shaping up to be one of the finest time loop stories I've read. Try it and you won'

This story is an adrenaline rush! Anthony the MC has a list of things to do and he doesn't have any time to waste. Once you dip your toe into this story, you will be ripped along at a blistering pace.
The story is told from the first person perspective. It is consistently applied and I always knew who was doing what.  This made it easy to follow. There is a time skip, which the author employs effectively to set up subsequent scenes and to show some of the MCs motivations.
The plot is straightforward. The goal is to save as many lives as possible using the MCs knowledge and experience from past runs. The world is being destroyed and Anthony is the only person in a position to do anything about it. It is an easy plot to follow and the way that Ant goes about it keeps it very interesting. Humour is applied effectively in several points along the story that keeps things refreshing.
I tend to be something of a grammar nazi, but I did not encounter any grammar issues that stood out to me. Well done!
The author employs a wide range of emotions from Anthony that really make him seem real. He is in turns passionate, vain, angry, and focused. Sara the angel is slightly less dimensioned, but the story is still young and I’m sure we will see more of her as the tale progresses.

Well written and thought thoughout, plot is slow and comes in arcs with lows and highs, tropes are dated for 2022 so if you are into more advanced genre specifix it could catch you as nostalgic or rehearsed, don't be dissuaded though, as this is a prime example for it's time.
New item type with comfort+ add to your inventory.
    Spoilers for trope hunters
Strong loop, no gaping holes, admins are aware of loopers but items and system keep them hidden at a price, mc advantage is low on the tower scale, mc op but moderated and kept in balance with threat assessment, safe zones and pc bases allow lowcase tower scenarios which did not play out by the time this review is written so things to look for.
