Description

I like the premise, the storytelling and writing is well done, the protagonist (her human side anyway) is a delicious bottom, and atm it seems as though the Fae Queen will be a wonderful Mistress herself who won't be abusing that trust. Meanwhile, it's already been shown that while the Queen can more than easily run circles around the wolf form of our mc, said wolf itself is in fact still not to be dismissed so lightly unless you're prepared for a crushed throat and a missing heart, which is nice to see.
At this point in time, my two biggest questions are: will the Queen be taking any time to actually teach our mc how to safely/properly navigate the social customs of the Fae? And will this story be following a larger overarching plot, such as a mess of political intrigue or even a war against another Court, or will it be more akin to a slice of life where the human half will spend time with the Queen and friends while the wolf half spends time being the Queen's fierce beast of a pet who can and will freely bite anyone in half if sufficiently offended or threatened?
At this point, it could easily be both with some overlap, or it could even go the way of some other route entirely that I haven't thought of yet. And honestly, I'm here for it either way lol.
So yes, obviously it's still very much early days yet (only eight chapters at time of review), but I already have my hopes up for this one! I'm just disappointed that it didn't already have more chapters to read when I came across it lol. - LkaybRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0So far so good! I'm really digging the story and characters. The story is fast paced so far and the dynamic between the queen and her cute little pet is really entertaining! The writing itself is well done with few to no errors. All in all its a joy to read. Can't wait for more!
