Description

What happens when you have a half-finished World-Wide Magical Operating System that has been stuck in development hell and Beta testing for hundreds of years? You get bugs.

Within the first floor of one of thousands of Dungeons that dot the world, a simple rounding error results in the birth of a trash mob with sapience, System User Access, and a desire for revenge against her creator. Can she become strong enough to overcome her weakness, delve into the depths of the Dungeon that birthed her, and gain her freedom?

Come and follow Bug in her journey of growth, revenge, and a search for shiny treasures and cookies.

Content Notes:

- The protagonist of this story is not interested in being a good person. Besides the inability to lie and always honoring her promises, she won't hesitate to hurt or kill anyone that gets in her way, even at the risk of killing innocent bystanders or even spreading country destroying pandemics.

- This story will contain Lesbians. (Same sex romance is not a key part of this story, but there are no tags for it, so I am putting it here.)

At the time of writing this review, I've been reading this book for all of 8 hours or so. In this time, I binged the entirety of volume 1, and was so immersed in it that I only noticed I read nearly 60 chapters about 10 minutes ago.
Beautifully written, deliciously horrifying, magically immersive.
    Style:
Sort of reminds me of Blake Pudding, but with a lot less sexual themes and more body horror. Dark, but not depressingly so, and flows from event to event without getting stuck too much.
    Story:
Hard to write this section without spoilers, so I will try to generalize. Fast paced, but unlike many such stories doesn't gloss over important details. Detailed when relevant, minor time skips over uninteresting bits. There is always a clear goal for the MC to work towards, and another one when it's finished.
    Grammar:
There are some mistakes here and there, but they feel more like typos then genuine errors. nothing a proofreader won't fix, and quite understandable even so.
    Characters:
MC is a person. She makes mistakes sometimes, she has realistic emotions for her situation and upbringing (is upbringing the right word for this story?). Her mindset is undoubtedly inhumane, but is genuine and realistic in its expression.
Most side characters don't stick around much, but the few that do are just as realistic. Though it's clear that the author payed a lot more attention to the depth of some then of others, non of the significant ones are shallow at all. Only the ones that are basically props are 2 dimensional, but then again, it's kind of how they are supposed to be.
    Notes:
I especially like the special take on the elemental system. While the idea of secondary affinities is common, I quite like the expression of it in this book. Do be aware that I will be shamelessly stealing it.

So at first i won’t lie, i expected this story to play out like others where the “villain” or “non-hero” turns into some good guy randomly just because plot. I expected it to end up in my not interested list as many other monster evolution stories, let alone necromancy ones.
Then i realized my fifteen minute reading buffer ended and i didn’t wanna stop. So I continued, and continued and as of now i am waiting for the next chapter when writing this review.
This story is one of the best I have read in this type of genre since forever. It’s funny, it’s tense at times and the characters are so intriguing let alone the MC. I expected this story to end up being forgotten in a day, yet now i will properly reread the entire thing as i wait for more. If you are looking for monster evolution, skills, points, real litrpg. This is your best bet. If you are looking for an actual villain or non hero mc, this is your bet.
5/5 stars. Amazing read, some spelling mistakes, some grammar but every story is like that. Keep up the good work.
TLDR: story good. Litrpg good. Mc good villain, not good person. 5/5.

I've just started reading this, but already I can see this is a gem.
I can't wait to find out the path our avaricious and vicious Bug is going to carve for herself in this world, but already her simple motivations to collect shiny things and eat cookies make her all too relatable for me.
UPDATE: After binging most of this story so far, it's damn good. MC is a monster in every sense of the word, and is also very much a person who doesn't really know what it means to be alive yet.
Lots of room for growth, I can't wait to see it.

To be honest, I half expected our protagonist, despite being a monster, to manage to hide her identity and become an adventurer or a hero more virtuous than humans, as is often the case in most of these types of stories.
    BUT NO!
In this story, our protagonist will behave like a cruel monster if necessary, killing, torturing, causing plagues, creating catastrophes, and whatever she deems necessary to achieve her goal, regardless of whether it causes harm to innocent people. But despite this, we can see our little monster's lonely heart, even if that heart is dark.
If you're looking for a story with a villainous protagonist who doesn't want to be a hero or save innocent people, but rather to fulfill her goals and ambitions at any cost, this is a very good story.
The only thing I didn't like was the excessive mention of tentacles and certain hentai practices, although it adds a touch of humor...
Note: It will probably include Yuri, although for now there's no romance, just friendship.

I just finished book 1 and it's been a very enjoyable read.
The story has a lot of heart and mixes adventure, conflict and action in a very pleasing way. I really felt like I was on a journey of dicovery together with the protagonist, Bug.
The combination of skills and attunements she gets is interesting, and it's fascinating to see how some early choices set her on a path that turned out to be very effective if not outight scary in many respects.
The author has a clear vision for the story they want to tell, about a villain type mc without a redeption arc, and I applaud the clear persistent vision. The pragmatic way that Bug handles herself, her progress, other chcraters and the world she was born in is refreshing.
The writing itself is great, the writer very effectively switches perspective at some point which deflty enriches our udnerstanding of the world and dungeon. Personal relationships are written both in words said and unsaid, and make for engaging characters.
Spelling and grammar is spotty at times though and author is not quick in responding to suggested corrections, even of glaring mistakes. That's a small black mark on an otherwise great read, one I would unreservedly recommend to anyone.

Bug and her minions are great her growth and skills and spells she gains makes sense and her thought process makes sense and her actions follow through. The Humans? All seems one dimensional bad guys they act like puppets and often their words seem hollow and lackluster. Otherwise a great story about our little rat-bug!

Why put a rat on the cover if the protagonist will stoo being a rat at chapter 2? I came here for a cute lil rat terrorizing poor dungeon denizens, not an anime rat girl. If the author changed the cover he would be able to target his intended audience much better. Pay an artist to draw a sexy anime rat girl, hell, get AI to do it, it's not that hard. But now my time was wasted because of bad marketing and you got a bad review because you hooked a fish you don't have a license for, it's lose-lose, so why inflict this sad state of affairs on both of us?
