Description

Most of the memories in this archive come from royalties, heroes, demon lords, and reformers. The names you will study in a history class. The ones history frames around.

This one doesn’t belong here.

She wasn’t royal. She wasn’t powerful. She never won a war.

But I remember her.

I remember her eyes—defiant but hopeful. I remember the way she spoke of her dreams. I remember her laughter after she tried and failed.

She lied her way into places she should’ve never entered. She wanted too much. She burned too fast. And still—I kept her memory.

She was my student once. Not officially.

Her name was Lhiu Rhi.

The world forgot her, but I didn’t.

So I’m writing her down now. Just in case nobody ever remembers her.

Former Lord of Pain

A lovely story well told! Two lovers who have complex interconnections go from love-hate, attraction-repulsion, this political love story is super fun read. Really enjoyed reading it, despite the cliff-hanger ending. It reminded me of Hamlet in some ways. The world building is especially well done. It's got an Eastern bent but also draws in so many cultures and mythos. Great work! I enjoyed it, and you will too.
