I've been rereading and I think I could make things a lot simplier. I'll be keeping this page up until I write enough to match what I've posted here, then I'll reupload everything. Thank you everyone that's left a review."

Saw the author's post on r/progressionfantasy and thought to give it a try. All in all everything so far is pretty good and I want to see more. First impressions struck me as very "Cradle" like in how Noki was portrayed, people who read it will see what I mean, but its not too "in your face" beyond the first few chapters and Noki does develop a beyond that later.
The story's pretty decent so far. Decent twists and obstacles for the protag. Not much to complain about on that side. The setting/world is interesting and colourful, though there could be more explanation on the systems. It'd need to be in a way that's not a huge expo dump but without it i don't have a clear understanding of rankings, techniques or the process of ascension.
Grammar and writing's solid, but could use some proofreading here and there, nothing that truly hinders the storytelling but sometimes the writing throws in a full line of exposition that doesn't really flow (main example is chapter 5 the explanation on corporeal arts was so out of the blue).
Characters are mostly interesting so far, but need a lot more expounding all around. So far I feel like the few side characters we've seen some background on is Baira and she's (respectfully) not that interesting to me so far as well as Kila who's a bit more interesting but hasn't been explored too much yet. I like that we get chapters from their perspectives and I think those chapters are done commendably. That said the antagonist so far is a basic bully with little depth and weak ambition and is also not interesting. There are big bads that're being built up so we'll see how they go.
As far as style goes, i can't say ive seen enough yet to make a complete judgement but as of the first 23 chapters, it reads like many other books in its genre but it's not boring or uninspired, so it's doing something right. I only give it a 3.5/5 because I haven't seen anything too unique from the author yet.
