Description
Anne is the last practitioner of a forgotten craft, bookmancy. But before giving up and allowing the book arts to disappear into the river of time, she will make her stand in the small border town of Mountainend, armed only with years of training and, of course, a good collection of books.
This is a fantasy novel with all the traditional elements—magic, fantastic races such as elves, dwarves, and beastkin, battles, and progression—but with a different touch brought by our Bookmancer.
The story focuses on the growth of several characters guided by Anne through her bookstore, while she herself grows as a person, a bookmancer, and a storeowner. In a world of magic, books can also gain magical properties, expanding the possibilities of what a normal bookstore could ever be.
I promise you bookmancy is more than meets the eye.

- Quinn VoidheartRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5I really enjoy the premise as well as the diverse cast. There are some grammar mistakes here and there but that's okay. They aren't too noticeable. I worry that stuff isn't going to be explained too much. There is enough foreshadowing though and reason to believe that the author will be able to explain why the main character is meeting so many extraordinary people in what sounds like an unextraordinary area. Also there's an adorable familiar, so that is always a plus.
