Description

Marion was raised at the forge, learning to shape metal under the watchful eye of her adoptive mother. But the night a robber took her mother’s life, she swore an oath—to never let an innocent perish unjustly. That promise became the fire that fueled her, a vow she would carry even when the world itself changed beneath her feet.

On her nineteenth birthday, a cryptic message in an old journal pulled her from Earth and into Gaerün, a land where warlords rule, beasts prowl, and ancient powers stir. Here, survival means more than strength—it demands skill, will, and an edge sharp enough to cut through fate itself.

In the depths of a forgotten cavern, Marion discovers a black jewel pulsing with eerie energy. When it shatters, it reveals something far greater—an egg. From it hatches Veynir, a dragon wreathed in death’s shadow, a creature bound to her by forces neither of them understand. Their bond is a beacon, drawing the attention of tyrants, cultists, and Malakar, an ancient force who seeks to break the world.

First, he tries to claim the dragon. Then, he tries to break Marion. But he underestimates the strength of a Oath forged in blood and fire.

With steel in her hands, fire in her heart, and a growing refuge of outcasts rallying behind her, Marion will not bow. She will fight, she will forge, and she will stand—because an oath once sworn is not so easily broken.

And the Blacksmith’s Oath will be her weapon.
