I binge read this for 3 days straight and im still so addicted to it. I like how the story really revolves on the main character's adventures, but sometimes the MC shows a little bit too little emotion to what happens to her. I also love the way the fight scenes are so detailed as the way i read it feels like watching an anime and it just flows correctly.

    Great story,
Funny and serious without going to silly or to dark. Wel rounded writing style. And complex world building without ever needing to do exposition.
Some decent action but mainly focused on the story.
The author also makes great alternative choices to evolution options. Atleast a few feel equally strong if not stronger than what the MC chooses but it's not always how the MC wants to be as a "person"
Early choises and actions have down the line a lot of impact clearly well thought of and written with a plan.
It has definitely a lot of potential to keep the same great quality for quite some time still.
    Congrats to the author!!
Had a very long detailed review but accidently failed to send. so this is the short version ;p

Very fun read would recommend, idk it just hits the right boxes for me but to be fair my standards are low but I really like the game elements and the relationship between him and "gramps"
and all his traits are interesting especially the subcores I thought they were an interesting addition
Anyway thought I would leave a review to support the author even tho he prib won't see it

Never written a review here goes something. The main character is pretty interesting they don't remember most of their human life and they don't sudennely start remembering it. I like all the choices they get each time they evolve(the basic Evolution choices show what kind of slimes the mc might encounter in the future and all of the special Evolutions are cool). I like that the story didn't develop into human bad and monster good .Most importally Im really happy that Syl didn't do anything completly stupid because there are some stories where monster mcs do lots of stupid things the moment they meet a human . Will continue reading

This is a really fun read, reminds me of that time I got reincarnated as a slime but it is its own story with great original elements and a much less OP beginning and journey. I highly recommend checking it out. Need nine more words so - spells, shapeshifting, kid friendly.

So far the story is good, the characters are interesting and well written, I didn't notice any grammar mistakes so it another positive. About the plot, well what can I say, I love it; the best about it are these parts that contain gaining new powers and evolutions and the fact that we learn about this world along with MC.

I absolutely love this book series. I stumbled across it after reading Chrysalis by rinoZ  and have absolutely been loving syl’s adventure, I was a bit sad when the cultivation world was used as a gag but it was still funny. I  don’t know how to feel about the elves. My head-cannon is than syl probably can’t cook to save her life (like somehow managed to burn water bad) overall great book series. Thank you for writing it.

DISCLAIMER: Anyone going into this and expecting it to be like reincarnated as a slime, it has some similar vibes, but is overall different.
Syl’s (gonna refer to Syl as she/her despite being a slime and having no gender) experiences with being a slime is just, at the end of the day, fun to read. The skill/trait system is interesting without being so overbearing, anytime there is any change to her status, it’s significant, and Syl even tries to do some meta-gaming with it which is always funny to read. When other characters start getting introduced, they’re fun to read the interactions between them and Syl and can be pretty funny at times.
Something that this story does well is that Syl NEVER compromises in its premise that the MC is a SLIME. Many monster-MC stories have the failing that they quickly want to not BE a monster, which is when I quickly lose interest. Syl likes being a slime and the benefits they get from it, which is a pleasant change. We also don’t have to read about Syl’s moral conflicts about dying and reincarnating or about killing to survive, which is another positive. Too many stories get hung up on their MC’s trying to be philosophies on the morality of survival which just isn’t enjoyable to read for any extended period of time. That isn’t to say Syl doesn’t have her moments of reflection, she isn’t a murderous slime, but she knows what she has to do to survive and moves on.
I enjoy how cozy this story feels as well. There doesn’t seem to be any crazy big bad or evil presence that is pushing the story along. It it literally just whatever Syl wants and her goals, and I think that’s a major strength.
This is where I’ll also say that the author uses the (not many) different POV chapters well as we get to see our slime from the perspective of others in a meaningful way. Many monster-mc stories do not have MC’s with strong enough personalities to drive the story from their perspective, and Syl does not have this failing. Syl the character is FUN. The

Good old litrpg hooking u up with the uogrades levels classes etc all the while keeping the story interesting and engaging.
Although a bit predictable the joy in this story doesn't come from surprises.
It comes from the endorphins released with level ups and skills and opness.
The mc consistently kreps being Op while not going overboard..the author is treading the line very Well ..
    Goodjob
