Magic has been dying for millennia. Once powerful mages rot in their tombs and the greatest warlords have long since withered to dust. Stories of heroes and monster kings are now only fantasy and history. A new hope for magic to once again mix with the winds is in the form of a young mage who has claimed to have found the origin of magic.

A throne sits empty, tempting the monsters of the world. The creatures born of magic are compelled to find it, yet they never so much as manage to disturb the dust that coats it.
