One day, he too would shine just as bright. That opportunity would soon come in the form of a nebula-wide competition for the chance to enter the most prestigious school in the milky way, Excelsior Academy, where noble children from the kingdoms of the Twelve Constellations are raised to become leaders, trailblazers, and most importantly soldiers against meteoric monsters from beyond the horizon. The encroaching crawl of the Constellars. Astra doesn't have a special bloodline, belong to a royal house, nor is he the chosen one. But against all these kids with powerful backgrounds and fated destinies, Astra has only one wish. To shine bright as a starry-eyed hero. This book will never be stubbed, not until Astra's journey is fully finished. Chapters release every 3-4 days.

I started reading this one for several reasons, that being that I saw the cover art again and I really wanted to read it, as well as the fact that I am currently reading mr. rose (seriously good novel by this same author, really recommend it)...
this book is amazing. the characters are so likeable, the writing style is great, and the plot is super interesting. sorta reminds me of those chinese/korean manwhas or whatever that have to do with the zodiac, but in the best ways, as this novel is seriously great. I really recommend it!

So far great read. Likeable and fun MC which mange to feel like he's actually ten. Good language/writing, and a very fun and unique story settings.
The story feels more traditionally written then most story's here. The best part about this story is the tone, it actually feels bright and hopeful which is a breath of fresh air.

The writing is fresh and original, and the author's style definitely shows in the prose and conversations.
The setting looks thought out, and the author has already teased lore tidbits in a tasteful way, leading me to be hopeful for the future of the story.
