- A5URARoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0This is possibly one of the best Cultivation stories that I have read in Royal Road. It just keeps piquing my interest as I read on. The MC is shrewd and is the type you would root for while at the same time cuss at. The world building is outstanding and it surely does take me to the world that is being described, however while I feel that the progression is a tad bit slower than I would like, I do understand that it is necessary for the story to stay grounded.
- Ep1cRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Ive been lurking on this story for quite a while ,(right around ch 88), and its a great read! I will say, theres a weird sexual undertone for like 5 chapters, but otherwise its amazing! Easy 5/5 stars. Its an interesting take on xianxia and I would highly recommend you give it a read!
- Felix8_5_1Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0MC is pragmatic, he has reached highest level possible and now he seeks excitement, he finds excitement in forms of rebirthing himself without his cultivation and trying to ascend as quickly as possible.
no offense to author , name makes you think like some cheesy op MC, which is in a way he is but he doesn't leaves opponents dumbstruck or anything, opportunities comes MC using his vast amount of experiences captilizes on them , but not to the point of being annoying at least in 1-70 chp.
so overall good read, but usual cultivation novels shenanigans or excitement is absent, this is little more subdued. good, nothing different from usual cultivation novels but writing is good, and that's lot compared to some of cultivation novels.

Tasteful combat, fun scenes, and main themes worth thinking about. At first glance, the characters are one-dimensional, but going a little deeper the characters skip straight over two-dimensional to 3D. A great story to read as a palate cleanser without expecting too much from it. And can’t stress enough how nice it is that the story made the hard decision of actually finishing and wrapping things up.
- TeamDmanRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0God-King comes down to play speedrunner in the mortal realms, with the disregard for rules and humanity that one might expect. Good story, good grammar. The MC experiences growth commensurate with a speedrunner who has done this a lot already, but the world manages to introduce challenges that are enough to keep them in check. Great so far, with big things happening
- TheReaperKingRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0It's not a 5 star story, but it's 5 stars in enjoyment. With well written charector, funny jokes, and eloquent language, I can't help but smile at every page.
The real gold dust here is actually very simple. Almost all cultivation novels pretend to be deep and end up falling into obvious cliches. This just goes, why pretend, and then intentionally uses those cliche tropes in clever ways. It's refreshing. - TrueCipresRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0This novel is two stories; the first one has an interesting concept and an arguably bad guy as the main character, but plays basically by all the tropes you could imagine in a typical Xianxia. Due to "X" (in this case a super godking cultivator taking over) an untalented child becomes a super genius that grows to become the greatest... it was fun at that and I personally liked how the main character was never excused for being bad, as it often happens in this stories. As if morality was defined by whatever suited the character. No, here he was an ass and even he knew it.
Then we got the second part, that was always ticking in the background. The real challenge, the real risk our main character, so used to being above all and basically untouchable, would face. Something of his own making, obviously, as he had done more than enough to cause it.
Both stories were done well to me, but I understand why some people weren't really into it, specially if you go for one thing and then it becomes another. The first seems to cut a bit abruptly, which on hindsight is probably meant to show that Dorian was taken out of his confort zone. The major issue "I" personally found was that despite we talking Multiverse and billions of people levels of power it always felt rather low stake, be it with power or with people behaving pretty much like kids despite being thousands of years old.
Despite that, I had a lot fun and I could see that there was always some planning involved in leading the story that pays out really well by it's ending. All around, I recommend a read (assuming anybody reads this, ever)
Thanks for sharing your story Adastra.
What I originally wrote:
If you are into unapologetically assholy mcs, then here is your fix.
What I love about this novel is that you know Dorian is not "a good guy". He is not outright evil either, he doesn't go out of his way to hurt people and isn't even that much of a vengeance guy either, he is just extremely selfish and cynical.
Why do I lov - desert_lotusRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0it struggles a little here and there but keeps improving .wish there was more chapters per week but i enjoying the story enyway and stuff sorta kinda a lot mostley for sure mabey i think .i love the concept for sure and can not wait to see wat happens eventually. Some day in my lifetime hopefully
- noksRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0the basics are well covered.
The story, you've seen some like this before but that's not really a bad thing, a god is basically bored and does stuff. The tension can still be felt for the most part, the comedy is certainly there tho it's not always consistently good (which can be understood because this is a webnovel) I didn't really enjoy the mc, I just didn't like him but that's a personal thing. I didn't really like the apathy, it makes sense don't get me wrong and maybe it'll be addressed in the future (it was explained, by addressed I meant as in character development) or maybe not since the character already developed into apathy in the first place.
again, not for me but it's a pretty well-written story. 🤷♀️
definitely worth checking out! (managed to read to chapter 40) - uat maxRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Review given after chapter 25 :
It's a clever twist on the Isekai trope : the character not only has knowledge of past lives, but he uses speedrunning tricks to further his advance.
The author uses this idea to paint the typical "out of the way village" in a new light to great effect, by using the MC's POV as a foreign AND expert element.
It also has no grammar mistakes that I can tell.
Congrats author, can't wait to read more of it !
