Description

Lin Qi-Fan was born with Twin souls, a condition which everyone except himself did not notice due to his overshadowing legendary attributes and physique. That second soul, was in fact, the soul of an intellectual from our Earth that stumbled upon the world of Xianxia through 'mysterious means'. The man, named Zhuo Yi-Fan learned their language and re-developed the muscle memory in his new shared body, helping Qi-Fan in his childhood for Logical, Philosophical and Academic tasks.

However he was given full authority over the body after the premature death of his 'room'-mate.

Now he has gained favour of a half-human half-divine golden dragon of the Immortal realm after grafting to him black dragon hands and lungs of his demonized Ancestor—to help in his ambitions of dominating the second Great Realms' war.

Current Arc- Zhuo Yi-Fan navigates through Sect life, preparing for the grand Golden Dawn Sect's Auction while exploring the true philosophy of the difference between friend and foe, depicted by the Sect Leader and Grand Elder respectively. When both's actions are equally frivolous, is the former's charm the only thing keeping him tied to the side of 'justice'?

Even though I haven't read much of the novel, I believe this one is something interesting. The premise of a professional as a protagonist is a very interesting one. I haven't read many novels myself but I haven't really seen many professionals portrayed in novels. Seeing a character who is supposed to be a professional actually act like one is very refreshing. I liked how he just ordered them since he knew what should be done. A professional knows what to do and will act upon it, I'm quite sure that the novel made this clear. Professionals should be able to do their job properly, effectively, and efficiently which I believe the protagonist did well. My only slight issue is that the novel can get a little confusing but that might just be on me. The introduction was also somewhat confusing but it really might be a problem with me as a reader. The interactions were quite intriguing since I'm still confused about each characters’ roles. I'm also sure that this novel would fit perfectly with people who like to think whenever they read. Overall, the novel was pretty interesting. I'm not a person who reviews a lot so I don't have much to say.
