I am a huge fan of Surviving the Game as a Barbarian's novel, so this novel was a fast 200 chapter binge. Although a similar power system, the author makes a perfectly independent story of a new world, new characters, and new goal.
The main character is genuinely someone I adore, as he's someone who struggles being both pragmatic and compassionate. I love rooting for him when he decides to gamble everything in hopes of a good ending.

This story has a fairly common premise: a guy is sucked into the world of the video game he plays. Alright, sure, I’ll give it a go.Where it distinguishes itself isn’t in the mechanics, the plot, or the numbers-go-up. Instead this story is genuinely a character driven work, grabbing your attention and making you root for the hero.Surprisingly good writing that gets even better as it goes along. I’m curious, I’m invested, and I’m eager for more. You should give it a go too; you might find yourself surprised.

I picked this up not too long ago and lemme tell ya, it's a very gripping story. Had me smiling or clenching my cheeks in suspense the whole ride. I would and have recommended this story. That face off was so fun to read too. Very well written characters really round it out too

This story is very well written, with very good pacing and world building, and very fleshed out and interesting characters. The main character is very badass without being edgy or overpowered which is rare these days...The power system is very well thought-out and is fun to think aboutThe characters are not just there to make the mc chine and are their own person which keeps the story engaging. The story itself is nothing new, it's about a man who finds himself in a video game which he used to play for 14 years and now he has to survive. But dont let that deceive you because it is not even remotely close to being cliché or bland, it's the complete opposite, i find myself always thinking that something is going to happen some way only for it to be the complete opposite. The story is very dark but succeeds at that without being edgy.I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a breath of fresh air from the brain rot and actually wants to read something engaging.

Thank you for writing something that has completely blown my expectations out of the water. I’ve seen way too many stories on here where the male MC starts with female companions who end up being romantic interests or wifus. I was pleasantly surprised when your MC let them go and gained a diversified party. I’m eagerly awaiting to see how you’re going to integrate a healer with a disability . Thank you for representing :) keep up the great work!

The story is about Han's transmigration to the world of MSS i.e. a hardcore video game he spent a huge part of his life trying to beat without mods or cheats, and when he finally does, he wakes up as slave forced to survive and fight for his life while competing  with others in a similar boat as him.
I love the style that the author has used in the narrating Locks story and also the way the game info and background is presented.
The stories premice, world building and the mechanics are fun and engaging to read.
Grammar is good, i.e sentences are coherent and understandable.
The characters are distinct and enjoyable to read about, supporting characters have their own povs that give us a glimpse onto their reasoning as overall character. The story is about Lock this we get sufficiently exposed to him the most.
What can I say,I have enjoyed every part of this story honestly (both the previous version and the current ongoing rewrite). I recommend you give it try, there's enough material for binge .
I thank and appreciate the author for sharing with us his works.
Between the chicken and the egg what came first?
Well obviously the egg was first then thefist chicken hatched.
Where did the egg come from?
A proto chicken which was not quite a chicken when it layed the first chicken egg.
    200?

The world, systems and interconnecting pieces presented in this story are the best I have seen on this app.The writting is good and organic, and the pace feels just right, fast enough to keep going from action to action but with slow parts to give us context and showcase the amazing world building.I tend to overanalyse lore and systems the more information I am given about them and in this story, not only are we given plenty of information on each minute item/monster/town/event but I have yet to find contradictory themes or ilogical situations. The novel is pretty lengthy and one of the best of its genre in my opinion.Made by a human and reviewed by others it's bound to not be perfect for everyone and the only aspects I could see myself criticizing would be the early begining and some human interactions. The begining hapoens in a somewhat closed scenario which does not allow rhe reader to understand how big and well done the world is, and also feels similar to some other work. The human interactions sometimes feel...strange to me. This could be done on purpose as the MC is quite introvert or simply different from how I would act.But this criticism does not take away from the novel as a whole and feel minute compared to rhe quality of the story, fights and plots present.Amazing read.

I dont usually write reviews but the guy below me had some gaul to say this was 0.5 stars. This is an Epic in the making and has not just amazing potential but an amazing start. This is an enthralling novel filled with action, crazy cool monsters, and some wild characters. Give this a read. You wont regret it.

I am extremely weak to character development, and this author does it well. I can see the humanity in these characters, I understand why they act the way they do.Anyone can die. No one is safe, because the world isn't safe. I want more of this story just to see how high the mc will climbhic sunt leones
