A different take of the way of time travel. The way of time travel in this story is new (at least for me) and it is a lot of fun. Add to that a bad ass heroine with some baggage, yuri action and you got an explosive mix of cyberpunk 2077 meets Stray Cat heavily influenced by a new and different free (in a way) magic system.If you like strong female protagonists with yuri elements in a dystopian sci-fi world, this is your story.

The heroine here tries their best and you see their struggles, but the end of each arc with an alternate point of view on the actions. It is often too easy to forget how hero's look to other people, but the interludes here work quite well.
We are still yet to learn about the big bad, but the story is over of the first I pick from the recent chapters list each day.
I'm worried that someone will catch on to the heroes power, and look to exploit it.
That I can be worried for a random fictional character a few chapters into the book shows I'm hooked.
There aren't too many characters, and each is distinctive. The vibe of the world is dystopian, between fallout and cyberpunk 2077.

This is a good story, but then I’d expect nothing less from Ravensdagger. Fans of the time travel genre might the protagonist annoying because she is ignorant about the genre and she is doing a poor job of leveraging her power. But I don’t have a problem with that and find it refreshing.

I haven't left a review in a while, but this story deserves it. Save Scumming grabbed me right away and hasn’t let go since. The premise of a time looping power that works like video game save points is already cool, but the way the author uses it keeps things fresh and exciting every chapter. Every loop feels meaningful, hilarious, or just plain clever.
The MC is fantastic. She’s messy, horny, awkward, but also smart, determined, and very human in how she grows and learns from each reset. It’s rare to see a female protagonist in a story like this, and she’s easily one of the most engaging characters I’ve read in a while. And of course, Mister Couchtop adds just the right amount of charm.
The pacing is tight, the humor lands, and there’s a great balance between tension and lighthearted moments. I’ve laughed, I’ve gotten excited in the loops, and I’ve actually been surprised by how much heart the story has. If only there were many more chapters to binge... but alas...
If you like progression, time looping mechanics done well, or just want a story with a fun lead who you can really root for, I can’t recommend Save Scumming enough. And if you catch up too fast, the author’s Patreon has a ton of extra chapters ready to binge.

Fun! Fans of RavensDagger will have a good idea of what they’re in for, and I quite like the setting, which is kind of like a more apocalyptic take on Shadowrun, with its mix of cyberpunk and magical elements. The protagonist has a clear goal and a path that makes reaching it possible, with a ton of work, and also some fun along the way. The time loop is more like a lot of smaller loops - unlike something like Mother of Learning or The Perfect Run, the protag keeps setting new save points and exploiting them. It really does a nice job of mixing up the usual tropes of this kind of story. I’m really looking forward to seeing where this goes.

Time travel is always fun, but this is kind of an unique twist, wherein that instead of going full Groundhog Day, we're actually progressing in time as we go along, with all the benefits therein. It'll be interesting to see how ti turns out.
