The protagonist Axel Carlsen is questioning his own reality when he finds himself wind up in a death game known simply as the Ragnarok. Set in an unspecified timeline, tragedy and death surrounds Axel as he tries to figure a way out of this nightmare. At the center of it all is a person who simply calls themself the Game Master. Filled with mighty Gods known as the Higher Beings and dangerous monsters, Axel must fight to survive in the Ragnarok. Betrayal and hatred surround him in this hellish world.
