For thousands of years, the cycle of fate repeats itself: the Death God is reborn, only to be slain by a [Hero] chosen by the Goddess of Life. Having reached the peak of power just like his predecessors who died before him, Nox the Death God realizes something they never did— that resisting his fate is pointless, so he accepts his death.

But that was all a part of his plan to break this cycle of destiny once and for all.By altering the reincarnation process to retain his memories before his death, he wakes up in the body of Eli— a recently-murdered orphan in the small city of Velmond. With a large portion of both his death magic abilities and his vast pool of mana from his previous life, he completes the first part of his plan and given himself a real chance of escaping his inevitable death in this life,

The next step to achieving his goal is by becoming a [Healer] and enrolling into the Holy Academy of the Church of Life… the very same organization that killed him in his past life. So he will have to hide his true identity, all the while also dealing with bandits, monsters, and the mysterious Avatars of Death that came about during the ten years after his passing.

And the final step of his plan? Transcend the power of even gods by becoming stronger than ever before.

So this story is really interesting. The title screams peak edge, the blurb says OP MC regressor magic school, and the first chapter gives you that final battle between the hero and demon lord type vibe that I absolutely eat up when it comes to regressor stories. So far, it's proven to be all of those things in various quantities as well as so much more.
The MC is, as the title would suggest, the Death God, reincarnated into the body of a young boy with everything reset save for his death magic mastery and insane magic stat. And as you'd expect from a Death God, he can be absolutely ruthless when he needs to be. The interesting twist here is that while the above is true, there are some reincarnation hero-demon lord cycle shenanigans going on that makes Death God a reoccurring role similar to Hero. (It's explained that it is technically the same soul, but normally the reincarnation has no memories or any carryover).
As such, the voice of this character isn't some ancient being of supreme wisdom, but rather a very capable, cunning, and ambitious not-young-and-naive-but-not-old-and-tired sort of personality who yearns to break the whole cycle of Hero and Death God. And that comes with some empathy as well, and an eye for character that leads to him recruiting followers from both expected and unexpected places.
The OP MC shenanigans start right from the top, and the story revels in crunchy fights told from the other perspectives as outsiders/antagonists are subjected to the sheer overwhelming power of a reincarnated Death God. It's not just the power, though. You're also hinted to the MC's mastery of the magic system, and the control and depth of understanding that one would expect from a being who has reached past the pinnacle of advancement.
Overall, I think this is a really wonderful story, and I expect really good things to come.

Cool story. It has a lot of setup for the future progress which might be easy to guess or the author can subvert expectations.
The pacing is good as each most chapters contribute to the next goal of the MC or to the worldbuilding.
The MC is supremely overpowered at the current stage of the story but as he grows in level the enemies would most likely not be so easily overpowered by him.
Right now I would consider this a good & fun story to read and it might turn even better depending on how it progresses.

    Good story so far
The charecters are quite interesting and the writing style is good.
If you are interested in a story of an overpowered MC who tries to defy fate while not sure what his purpose in life is this is a great read.
The story keeps a lot of possibileties open and forshadows a lot.
On minor annoyance I have is that there are a lotminor POV changes that feel a bit more like exposition dumps rather rthan give relly new perspectives.
Overall a great start to this story

I read this when I was bored and I like God reincarnation stories and till now, it has been more than a decent novel. There's overarching plotlines with hero and demon king cycles and MC's goal of breaking it. As for his personality, he's ruthless and developing well in the body of a child. The powers are cool and even if it's in edgy territory, most Litrpg are and that's a plus in my opinion.
It's still early, so I won't go into the negatives, but I think this should be a very decent outing.

Couple of chapters in and I am hooked. No harems and no pages of stats and unnecessary repeating of the same skill quest or whatever. Interesting premise and șo far Interesting characters. The writing is also well done. It is early to say more but I am here to stay.

For those people who like the most optimistic fulfillment provided by OP main character stories, this one is great.  It has action, struggle, and purpose, but the main character is actually well prepared, strong, and likeable.  This is one of those stories that I don't listen to in order to have my mind challenged, but rather to put me in a good mood.  It is interesting, and well balanced so far.

Im not really sure what to say here. Its a good book, i like the story and the system, well its a litrpg system not much else to say, if you like litrpg systems you will probably like this one. As said before i like the story the basics of it are that there is a death god and this death god trys to kill the goddess of life but is always killed at the cost of the life of a chosen hero then the death god reincarnates with no memories and a new hero is chosen, our death god Nox decides to break the cycle so instead of attempting to kill the goddess he syphons her power so he will retain his memories when he reincarnates then he lets the hero kill him to spare her life and mess up the cycle more, so in the end the hero is still alive and he retains his memories and a portion of his power.

Great book so far. I was on the fence but then saw it was getting stubbed soon so i gave it a shot. The MC is alot less ruthless than i thought they would be, but from the gusses that the MC is making there seems to be a reason for it. I am all for how the MC had been acting and am really looking forward to the book continuing.  This is a book i almost wish i didn't know about till it was completed cause i want to keep reading.

I like the writing and style. It's clear, concise and stylistic too, which is one of the biggest grass.
The story has potential. The plot could be made more interesting and the characters too.
Death God Vs Goddess of Life. I hope the battle is as good as I expect. I am eager for that face off.
And It would be amazing if the author describes sceneries more clearly.
Overall, it is a good read.

The plot is enjoyable enough, if on the basic side. Characters aren't very deep but they are slowly developing, and there is skill in thier creation.
The setting is papper thin. From what I can tell, our MC is not particularly strong by the settings standards yet, but all their stats are already 10-20 times stronger than they started. I have no idea how normal this is. Similarly, we know magic exists, but no idea how common it is and other than healing and war I have no idea how it shapes the setting.
The prose needs work. The biggest flaw is a consistent overexplaining of everything. Something happens that shows something, imediatly followed with the MC's thoughts rexplaining it multiple times per chapter. Readers can be dense, but you need to assume they have some ability to infer and deduce. Spending twice as many words -- and thus twice as much reader time -- dilutes the story painfully.
Despite this, I've enjoyed it enough to keep reading it so... 3 stars.
