Genesis Murray dreams of being among the best of the airship pilots in the Cosmos. Racing is her calling. But, as an eighteen year old orphan-- and a girl, to boot-- attaining her dreams isn't easy. Females racing is frowned upon by most. It's a dangerous sport. There are those who support Genesis and encourage her in her chosen career, but they are few.

As Gen battles grief and discouragement, she chooses to push back against the forces that want to deny her, her dreams. In one of her lowest moments, a decision is made that will change her future forever.

Will the Combat Race hold victory and glory for Genesis?
