~~~~Link to rewrite:https://www.royalroad.com/fiction/151761/hellfire-princess-of-hell~~~~ When Liam wakes up in the body of a succubus princess with no memory of how he got there, he's thrust into a world of demonic politics, supernatural powers, and hungers he never knew existed. Desperate to return to his human life, he must navigate the treacherous halls of the Academy of Infernal Arts while maintaining his cover as Lily, daughter of Hell's royal couple. But as Liam struggles with his new demonic nature, he finds unexpected friendship with fellow students at the academy. Together, they face various obstacles, uncover ancient secrets, and discover that not everything in Hell is as it seems. As his time stretches on, Liam must confront a terrifying possibility: What if returning to his old life isn't an option anymore? And worse—what if he's starting to enjoy being Lily? Caught between two worlds, two identities, and two sets of instincts, Liam must decide who he truly wants to be before both his worlds come crashing down around him. ****WARNING***** Because English is not my native language, I'm relying on AI to edit my ramblings into something more coherent to a native speaker. If that bothers you, then feel free to skip this story. The story is in a process of being rewritten. I'm still uploading chapters for this version, but it will happen at a reduced frequency as I'm focused on the rewrite.
    This is a story where a guy does an Isekai to Hell and lands into the body of a succubus. I have read everything released up to now and I generally enjoyed it. It's a fun story. I've seen a lot of guy is suddenly transformed into a girl and is thrust into demonic / evil magic school stories. That doesn't mean this one isn't done better.
    Expect many of the tropes of this sort of story: extreme shopping, the asshole fellow student who is "royalty" and feuds for no reason, sudden trips to weird places to save someone, etc. Like I said, this is not an original plot. That doesn't mean you won't enjoy the ride. A good helping of mild smut helps spice the stew.
    I do hope the author continues this through to completion. Alas, too many drop off at a good point and we NEVER find out what happens. PLEASE don't quit on us.
    Re: Sex. Yes, there is sex. A good amount of NSFW stuff. While I like there being a lot of NSFW sex, I think some parts are so far over the top I wouldn't want to do it myself, and think I wouldn't get pleasure from doing it. That leads you to go "Huh" and reread it, counting who is doing what with their what to the POV's where sometimes. I want less random people and more details and sensations, please.
    Re: Succubus nature. That seems inconsistent. WHY sex? Pleasure? Survival? To be corrupting?
    Re: Plot. Weak, but this is a school girl romp and not the Hero's Journey. If anything, their journey seems to be "I come to acceptance with myself and I actually like it" story. There's a lot of wish fulfillment by having parents that are nice, kind, protective, loving, and accepting. All those things we wish we had gotten from our parents.
    I started that story more for curiosity. You know, while waiting for chapters for my other storys. The first thing that got me impressed is the nice and easy to read writing style of the Autor. What kept me going where the characters and World the Autor created.
    If you see a story about a succubus, the first thing that comes to your mind is another smut story where somone tries to build a story around some sexual stuff or changes a succubus character the same way as some people change vampires to sparkeling models. But in this story it feels like the Autor is able to stay true to what fantasy characters should be.
    For me the Autor is building a interesting story with a succubus main character while still containing the essence of what a succubus is. Sure this story is nowhere safe for reading at work, but at least the focus seems on good story content while staying true to what a succubus is. Interesting characters and story developemant is more important for a good story that keeps readers entertained than some smut coated in a nonsense story. In addition this story is build with a very good writing style from the Autor.
    I was looking for something new to pass the time and this novel seemed like a good opportunity. I don't give a lot of advanced reviews, but decided to give one after binging the whole thing in one day.
    The premise of waking up in a new body is nothing new, but the conflict between main characters struggles and acceptance of their new reality was better paced than most others in the site. The story was compelling and manages to craft an interesting demon society. Soujourns to other worlds have a nice flavour and can be expended upon in the future. The side cast is also given enough attention and are made compelling by giving them proper deapth instead of just being extensions for MC. The 18+ scenes are competently written and don't feel gratuitous. They can also be skipped without too much trouble if that is not your thing.
    Grammar had no noticeable flaws and the prose flows well. The weekly output of words is a positive for the story and the aghor dhows no signs of zlowing down. I wholeheartedly recommend to give this a go.
    The story is well written. Pacing is also quite good, though slows down a bit after a few dozen chapters.
    But I like fantasy stories when they explore ideas. How would X fit with Y, without shying away or hand waving the consequences. And it lacks a bit there.
    The concepts of hell and succubi are sanitized to their limits. Traditional moral problems with demons are largely portrayed as fun and cutesy. And the MC places a heavy stamp of her western PC sensibilities all over the story. A story about succubi you’d expect to heavily focus on the erotic aspects, but most of that is the MC protesting and arguing against it. Even after she supposedly accepted herself as a succubus.
    It didn’t really work for me.
