Description

Boom! Smells like Liberty!

Kaya grew up learning that the aliens and terrorists destroyed Lost Earth, and terrified they were coming for her next!Only the Milky Way Republic’s bravest defenders stood between them and her friends and family.

So when she graduates drop school and a bloodthirsty old war hero offers her an opportunity to become a legend and return the galaxy to its gory—er, glory—days, she dives at the chance.

After all, the bugs, bots, and cows need eight hundred kilograms of high-explosive freedom delivered from orbit. And thanks to a software upgrade that lets her drop as many times as she needs to, she’s just the woman to drop it on them—no matter how many tries it takes!

    You like ODST?
    Helldivers?
    Star troopers?
Then this is the a great fan fic for you! It's mostly helldivers related but definitely has that feel from the other two fiction universes I've mentioned.
I never played the game so I'm not sure how... close it is to canon or if it's inspired by the aspect of it - if it's canon, I can understand the lack of details on the specifics to the enemies besides their obvious looks but if it's inspired, a little more details on them would be interesting to find out in the future loops.
I'm looking forward to more of these chapters and with the author doing the spring 2024 writeathon challenge, that is an exciting start.
