Description
After his untimely demise from tripping on the chord of his electric guitar, Songwriter James Grawder Finds himself in an empty, marbled room, with the title of [Reincarnator]
With many worlds and species to explore and impossible requirements to be met just to continue reincarnating, James will have to force his will forward and try his hardest to survive, sacrificing his own wants, for his needs.
This story's premise is heavily inspired by "The many lives of Cadence Lee". Mainly, copying the "incarnator chamber" idea. Otherwise, I make no attempt to copy vladerag's work.

- CKJ5Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0Story 5/5: Odyssey of the Reincarnator, as one might guess from the title, is a LitRPG / Isekai story. I love the concept of it with the MC being reincarnated multiple times. The story is witty and fun to read.
Style 4.5/5: The story is told in first-person, allowing the author to make the world and system mysterious to us. While I enjoyed the overall style and delivery, I could do without all of the stat updates. It might only be my preference, but there is a lot for my tastes. Besides the stat notifications, the style and flow are solid.
Grammar 4.5/5: There are a few issues, and I think most of these will be resolved with another edit or two. I want to stress there wasn't anything that made it unreadable or hard to understand, and the story is engaging enough that I stopped paying attention to such things.
Character 5/5: The MC, James Grawder, is well-written and witty. It is great to see them go through the motions as a kitten. I also enjoyed the interaction with the system. The other characters introduced so far have been well done.
Overall 5/5: I enjoyed my time with Odyssey of the Reincarnator. The story is light-hearted, fun, and witty. The situations, for me at least, were fresh and amusing. I often wondered where the MC would end after his stint as a cat. I have no problems suggesting this story to Isekai fans or people who like witty MCs. But regardless of your tastes, it is worth giving it a spin. - Drew RoystonRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0The Odyssey of The Reincarnator is a super fun read with a genuinely original protagonist.
We open to the main character arriving at his first reincarnation (or at least I assume that it’s the first). If there has ever been another transmigratory story where the MC is an aspiring, mediocre, musician. That background is not just from initial flavour, it recurrs regularly
This is a story that is full of humour. That comes through right from the start where even the way that the main character dies is funny and runs all the way through.
Lurking in the background of all of this is The System. We don’t know much about it yet but it is clearly watching. That introduces a satisfying level of tension to the story as we don’t quite know what it wants.
All in all this is a great start to the story and I look forward to seeing where it goes next. If you like LitRPG and reincarnation stories this is worth checking out.
Detailed Scores
Story: This is a really fun story. The main character get a few boosts from the system when he reincarnates, but I like the fact that he seems to mostly progress through his own efforts. I also like the fact that he makes mistakes and those mistakes have ongoing consequences. It all adds to the believability of the world.
Style: A good breadth of vocabulary, believable dialogue, exciting action scenes. All good..
Grammar: A few minor things but nothing that drew me out of the story. A smooth read. Good job.
Character: The author does a great job here, not just with the slightly bewildered main character, but also from the cast around him. I was particularly impressed with the way that the father was drawn and also how, even though we barely get to see him now clear the Mage was depiscted. - JEPayneRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0This was a very original and interesting concept. I'm unsure if this is a broader subset that I just haven't seen before, but I haven't seen a story that follows an individual over multiple lives! Or one in which the first time the MC reincarnates as a kitten! Its got some strong slice of life vibes, but the author makes it entertaining and humorous commensurate with an adventure fantasy.
Style - great! It's funny, well paced and well written, clearly conveying the story to the reader.
Story - extra great! I never thought I'd think of a battle between a litter of kittens and an unusually large rat as 'epic' but here we are. The author delivers the story with good pacing and a healthy dose of humour. One thing I would say, the early chapters have a lot of 'blue screen' type info to plough through, but I know a lot of people on here love that so it's not really a drawback, this is really just a heads up
Grammar - a few typos and the occasional missing word, but the story is engrossing enough that you probably won't notice
Character - another extra great! The most developed character is obviously the MC, but the way they spin the narrative and their thoughts, emotions and cunning kitten schemes make them a real stand out!
Strongly recommended to anyone who enjoys reincarnation stories! - SickdudeWickedRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Odyssey of The Reincarnator is a novel with a niché premise of multi reincarnation which has great potential. The story is well written and interesting. I enjoyed reading what little of it exists and would definitely recommend to others!
Style: There is a bit of blue screen galore in the first chapters but otherwise it picks itself up with nice use of the 1st person perspective.
Story: The plot is interesting and keeps the reader engaged. The first world is unique and shows promise, there is a sense of mystery in how the world works due to tbe limited perspective of the MC.
Grammar: The grammar is solid, there are a couple missing words or bad punctuation but nothing that is easy to notice.
Character: Not many characters have been shown or elaborated upon, but the main character and what little we've seen of the other cast in the four chapters we have shows great promise and execution!
Overall: Looks great, would love to see more, though the upload rate can be problematic, it's not dreadful atleast. Would absolutely recommend it! Story shows promise of a grand adventure and the initial world is great, not much to complain about, seems like a good read. - HWPerfidyRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5Story: We follow Simile, a person who’s died and reincarnated into a [spoiler]. We follow Simile on her journey of growing up in this new world, tackling challenges she’s never been faced with before while having to deal with a strict family. The worldbuilding seems well thought out, with a lot of elements pointing towards a complicated world far different from the one we know.
Style: The style is rather simple. Direct and to the point, without too many descriptions or unnecessary details bogging it down. Personally feel that some of the word choices are a bit clumsy and break up the flow of the story a bit, but nothing too serious.
Grammar: A few mistakes, but nothing that breaks up the flow of the story too much. Mainly capitalisation errors, a few run on sentences
Character: Simile is a delight to read about, although she can be frustrating at times. I can’t really say much about the personalities of the other characters though, since it’s still early on in the story and most of the other notable characters like Simile’s siblings can’t speak.
Overall: A pretty cool story. I wish the author the best of luck in writing it.
