I am enjoying this thoroughly! It is a delightful read, the author brings together several (sometimes disparate) elements to make a tale that is satisfying but still very cheery and life-positive.

So... I guess it starts a bit slowish, but the start is good in setting the character concept.

Cute with dark undertones! But enough cute to tip the scales into cute.
Fresh is the dark light in the dark dark light dark darkness, And spreads her light through the darkness with her darkness light.
For all that it starts light and progresses darker there's islands of light around to shine light against the darkness and those islands make Fresh even lighter than she started even as she's got some dark.

Terrible. I hate it enough that I needed to write a review. Five stars, every category, I'd give six if I could.
I feel enough sympathy for the main character that this is giving me deep feelings and reminding me of my own dark well of existential dread. I hate it.
Thinking about your friends all the time and yourself mostly when the darkness comes is very relatable. This is very well written. Too relatable. How dare you Razz.
Anyways any book that can make you feel something is worth it. I'm mostly into isekai stuff for the laughs, I need the laughs. Fresh and co need the laughs. There's not enough laughs and I can't turn away.
Part way through book 3, the audiobook is real good. I wish there was some more action or dungeon just to break up some of the tension, but people are getting along well enough I guess maybe? Or everything is going to break apart at any moment. Who can say? I hate you Razz.
Sign up for author's patreon if you like their works, Razz writes good stuff and if more people did that less great writing would get lost(?) to the stubbening. Though it wouldn't be an audiobook without that, so who can say what loss really is?
P.S. Very well written, very good characterization, one of the best.

Reviewed after going through the first four chapters.
It's definitely a slow start, however that is nice. Having too much going on in the first few chapters really can be an eyesore in my opinion.
No grammatical errors or spelling mistakes that I can spot. Chapter length is also good (God I hate LONG chapters).
The matter of reading about a stupid MC, I think it's up to preference. IMO it's nice to have something written about an MC who is displayed as actually stupid.
My biggest issue with the novel is that we only find out our MC name in chapter 4, which is rather far away. I believe that HAS to be given earlier for us to be able to create a connection with our MC.

I've been reading this story for a few days now, and thoroughly enjoying it.  I've read 1 other book by this author, and she has a very distinctive style, that follows her books.  They are very character driven, with the end goal being something more nebulous than "become Uber powerful/immortal and save the world!".  I quite like it, both books I've read have characters that are quite good, but on the "bad" side because of tradition, politics, or just circumstance.  She portrays them well, and has I threshing ways to have them straddle the line between the "good guys and the bad guys".  5 stars for story.
As for style, this is mostly a slice of life novel, and very well done.  It's hard to keep the day to day interesting, without dragging the story out.  This novel is on the slower side, with very few time skips, so we see a lot of days where nothing much happens except it's hot and we make a glass of iced tea.  I wish we'd have a little more nits and bolts to the magic besides, "I line up the goblin teeth and cast a spell"  that's how most of the magic works, it just does, ni actual mechanics or guts behind it.
The characters are mostly good, we only look at a few closely, while anyone outside of our immediate circle of three is barely glanced at.  And unfortunately, the second most important character in the story is a blob... Jubilee is a dwarf/gnome/goblin/homunculus, thats a jerk, but sometimes nice, and is attached to Fresh for no reason at all, except "they" (singular they refering to jubilee) decided to maybe save her life at extreme cost to itself for no reason at all.  Beyond this we know Jubilee is alone, owns a house, is very powerful, once had a party, and that's it.  We don't know Jubilees gender, race, age, appearance, nothing.  Jubilee is just a blob that exists to keep Fresh alive, and I'm of the opinion that this creature was created by the Black Fountain as some sort of tutorial guide to enable fresh to survive and function.

A little bit too slow of a start for me, 24 chapters in and only a few indicators to the 'Dungeon Item Shop' up ahead. However, the world-building is very nice and easy to understand, though the 'dungeons' themselves are a little hard for me to imagine. I haven't actually read many books that are written in present tense third person (I'm no English expert) so in a few places I was questioning the grammar.
    Style:
To be honest, the way this story is written is fine, although a little hard to read in places (particularly because of the large paragraphs). I really enjoyed the way the game menus were structured, being easy to read and visually appealing. I have to say that the author did a really great job on the profile, making their own cute anime picture which helps with imagining how the mc looks. The author has creatively used different symbols to make the titles of things stand out more and a very eye-catching effect on a few of the menus (no spoilers). The dialogue also flows very well and seems very realistic.
    Grammar:
Not much to say about this, except that the majority of it makes sense and is correct (as far as I'm concerned).
    Story:
A slow start, but an interesting one. The author has clearly taken their time to build on the world and the characters, which I appreciate. Instead of rushing into action packed scenes, the story centres around the slow progression and understanding of a new fantasy world. The dungeon concept is engaging and interesting, though quite vague. The 'game system' is intruiging, with many unique aspects, such as the 'soul point' system and the wacky currency called Obols. I'm looking forward to an explanation of soul points, curses and more information about abilities.
    Character:
The main character is your traditional dumbass weakling (no offence to Fresh whatsoever). Whether or not her zero intelligence score plays a large role in this, it's still no excuse for her to be so dense. However, I really like how the author (over 20+ chapte

Keeping this as a spoiler free review of the story.
    Style
The author has a way of writing completely riveting emotional scenes throughout the story, capable of drawing out the feelings from both the reader and the characters in an organic way. They know how to fully utilize its small cast of characters to evoke emotions to the reader from either a slowly built-up storlyine or just straight up just from a normal slice of life chapter.
Now getting to one of the things that bothered me the most, as I've previously mentioned slice of life, the author doesn't hide the fact that this story is a slice of life from how the story presented itself in the earlier chapters.
It's expected there will be a lot of mundane stuff happening with little to nothing plot development. Initially it wasn't that much of an issue, but as the story has reached halfway, it has come to the point some interactions or slice of life chapters have a feeling of something that's already been done or repetitiveness, with just in a different kind of rendition; you can present things in a limited amount of times before it start to lose its novelty or charm and start being repetitive. That is why a lot of the chapter for the latter half of the story feels slow, and honestly a slog to read.
Honestly it could have been better improved upon, if there were more outside the shop slice of life scenes in general, as a lot of the said chapters that felt really slow were inside the shop. It feels quite exhausting and caged as a reader.
Finally, the story is told from solely the point of view of our protagonist, Fresh. It's not much of a problem with me, but some readers probably want to have a breather chapter or interlude that is told in a different point of view. This also feels like a missed opportunity for the author to further build their characters and the world itself in general.

The synopsis pretty much tells everything you would expect out of the story, it's about selling stuff and running a shop, w

I'm sure it gets better. Bear in mind this story review is only chapter 17. But I can't force myself to dig through this opening for the chance its maybe good when I could read a better story.
Protagonist is an air head. Not like the, making some bad decisions way. Not in the, oblivious of her situation way. In the NEVER THINKS ABOUT ANYTHING way! She gets herself killed on Day 1! she knows NOTHING about the world, the people or culture, and has made no effort to know.
The first friend she makes, she saddles with crippling debt and that means the only relationship you get to concern yourself with at the start, is a grumpy, generally unpleasant person, bullying someone with a lower IQ than most children. Totally deserved considering the debt, but not pleasant and its not making me like either of these characters. Nope. I'd rather read anything else, not invested at all

I sincerely wished i had never this. This a story about terrible people doings horrific things (wether intentionnaly or unintentionnaly) and suffering zero consequences from their actions. Not only that but the main character of this expresses zero remorces for having commited such actions.
Reading the ending was like watching hitler find peace and tranqulity surrounded by friends and familly.

At the time of this review I'm in the early 20's chapterwise and it still feels like a chore to get through rather than anything actually enjoyable. I knew going in that it was going to take a while to get the actual dungeon shop part of the story, but I figured that it would at least be an enjoyable time getting there.
    It isn't.
As far as the building blocks of the story go it's got most of the pieces. A decent enough system to work with and the world's interesting, SPAG's fine, etc. Nothing groundbreaking but a decent base to build off of.
I will say that the driving conflict also feels... off. Reading it and the author's justification for why it was totally legit just missed the mark for me, and the reason ties in with my biggest gripes for the story.
It's the character's that make or break a story when the plot's going to be as slow burning as it is. And for me, the characters do not do their job at carrying the story while the plot's taking it's time getting off the ground.
I get that the author wanted stats to have meaning, but I cannot for the life of me figure out why they went the route they did doing so. It's mentioned very early in story that a child could beat the MC because their stats are so abysmal. That's something that could work really well as a demonstration while their mental stats are about the same as what they would have been in their original life. But instead *every* stat sucks, and we're left with an MC that combines the worst of the idiot MC tropes along with crying for none of the reasons you'd expect a character in her position to cry about. It doesn't make her feel like a real person and I'd honestly say that at this point in the story calling her a flat character is a compliment.
None of the other characters so far are enough to make up for the issues the MC causes.
All in all, if you can get past the MC you'll probably enjoy the story because it has what I feel are a lot of neat elements, but if you don't like an 'idiot' (because they
