A century ago, society had to deal with unadulterated chaos, as gates to other worlds cascaded the Earth in terror. Families torn apart, literally as people find the streets too dangerous and flee into the eye of the storms.

Years later, when those weak, feeble humans entered the dungeon they came out with preternatural abilities never seen before. Killing the monsters and avenging the ones lost to those worthless beings. Humanity slowly reclaims its place on the throne and rebuilds society, now with the addition of an economy based around other worlds.

Kaine is walking on the path of the legends who took back humanity's. Follow him on his journey as he reaches the apex of humanity...as a lazy bum. Though the hierarchy seems to be changing and humanity has an even larger challenge to tackle.
