Description

Three powers were discovered and harnessed so that they could be controlled. These powers are required to keep the planet alive, and need human bearers to focus and amplify their individual powers, but at what cost to their bearers? Power over the elements, controlling the flow of time, and dictating life and death are the powers that three young adults wield inMoonlight, but their lives will be changed forever.

Moonlightfollows the stories of Claire, Jayden, and Seraphine, as they learn to control these powers that desire to consume them.

Author Notes: Hello! This isn't my first attempt at writing a story, and it isn't even my first attempt at writing this particular story, but I'm not in any way what I would call "experienced". I decided to upload my writing here because I just wanted to get my ideas out there, and I wanted to get some constructive criticism for my writing from the RRL community. All comments are welcome, but please try to keep them positive and constructive! If you leave a rating, I would appreciate it if you left a short explanation of what you liked and what I can improve on.

I'll be uploading each chapter as I finish them, but this is still the first draft so anything and everything is subject to change. The cover art is drawn by me, but I'm in no way married to it. I just wanted something that showed the three magical sources, as I picture them in my head. If you do any art based on this story, send it to me! I would love to see it. I'll stop talking now, I hope you enjoy the story!

    the novels has short chapters but they are all entertaining. The focus for now is not on the magic but more on the relationship and actions each character took. Same case with Medea Malfoy. Petunia's growth and impact on her surroundings is a joy to see. Cant wait to see more!

    Have you ever wondered what Harry's life would have been like if Petunia hadn't married Vernon and he'd been raised in a loving household? Did you already read Harry Potter and The Methods of Rationality? Well, in this story, Petunia is a reincarnator with memories of having read the Harry Potter series so it's way different than that. My only gripe is that some of the chapters are way too short. This Petunia Evans is, cold, calculating, and will stop at nothing to ensure her family's safety. Overall a great read that I binged.

    Note: A VERY VERY early review.
    From what i have seen so far it has some interesting qualities. The chapters are very short, and you don't get to see much of the MC's thoughts/future plans. I could accept the very short chapter without issue if we had a chapter daily or every other day but as it is the chapter length is a flaw in my eyes. On the other hand it is taking a direction unlike any other fanfic I've seen and seems to have a lot of potential. It is still rather early/short so a think it is worth giving a shot all in all.

    A really interesting take, going in depth in the psychee of Petunia.
    I am in no postion to judge the grammar, but I did not feel any difficulties reading. The main character is really interesting, and the whole thing has a certain new york socialites vibe I love (xoxo Petunia Dursley). And adventuring in the lore of the MAGUSA and of the wizard life in the States is quite fresh.

    Unique location. Unique settings. Unique time period.
    All wasted.
    Firstly, each chapter is too short. 2-3 chapters should be grouped into one.
    Secondly, it seems the author want to avoid came up with the original content which is kinda bad for this fanfic.
    This is a harry potter insert story where it's in America. World building the American magical scence should be one of priority.
    Going back to London because the cannon magical society is there.... That's not a way to go. With the protagonist wanting to runaway from there.
    Lastly, the protagonist is unlikeable. She's the poster child of far right anti-feminist.
    How she dealt with an unwanted pregnancy with Vernon's child?
    1. Sleep with a rich guy.
    2. Blackmailed and extorted his money.
    3. Living an expensive lifestyle with said money.
    4. Calling your newborn baby a parasite because he's evil in a fictional book
    5. Named in Dudley because why not? Parasite going to grow into a parasite anyway.
    6. Hiring a nanny who's believed in tough love because she can't bothered raising a child herself and the parasite deserved nothing better.
    At least make the main character likable, will ya?
