Took a star off for an immediately lovestruck side character and the MC feeling shallow. Definitely needed 5-6 chapters to develop that side character before anything and, ideally, would have been good to have a bit of backstory on the MC filled out before diving into the system isekai stuff. Feels a bit perpetually hollow as a character as is.
The premise was otherwise worth an immediate 5 stars though, so there's that.

You have to remember although we exalt Crusaders as the personification of Christian spirit at that age these boys were out for blood and money. Money because nobles want it ofc and blood for 2 centuries of Muslim aggression. If one was a a firm believer in God and educated he could not be a fanatical crusader because it runs against half our religion. So our protagonist is delulu, and to me reading delusions is boring and sad.
