  • There's soo much mystery and lore that'll have you theorising while looking forward to the next chapter. The amount of build up is amazing and I can't wait for when they do get revealed. Love the gentle pace the story is going at, really gives me time to so…

Love the gentle pace the story is going at, really gives me time to soak in the atmosphere and the world building, such a breath of fresh air and a must read!

I just found this, binged it and now I find myself waiting anxiously for the next chapter. Our naive protagonist is endearing and the lore is grabbing my attention most fiercely. The story is both heartwarming and attention getting. Her in game experiences are making me jealous but her real life problems are enough to make you want to scream at someone. If you read this, you won't regret it.

A sweeter and more simplistic take on the MMORPG genre, a lot of quest based progression rather than the grind hard theory.
Good mix of her IRL struggles v ingame history discoveries. But looks as though these two may become quite intermixed from what's happened so far.
Really fast progression through the class levels and a fair amount of loot.
Interactions are primarily with NPC's as MC is struck in an often overlooked area in the game and is quite happy to just naively play around in this area.
Pretty good, very chill novel, well paired with a log fire and a cup of hot chocolate.

So I like this story so far. The mc is sweet and relatable if perhaps a bit childish for someone in the early twenties. The pacing is good and the story has a relaxed ...umm.. flow? Is that the right word? Anyway so far very cute and enjoyable but there are a few things that had me feeling a little disjointed. For example she gets off work at 5 and rides the bus home and after a very short convo with mars goes to her room and it's suddenly 9pm? Did she spend 4 hours on the bus? I can travel all the way across my state in that time. Are city bus rides usually that long? I live in a rural area so idk but seems wierd. Also some of the conversations had me going do people actually talk like this? Because where I live if someone was mean or laughed at a crying girl they would very quickly be punched in the face. Idk some of the conversations just feel strange to me like they aren't grown adults talking to each other but little kids. Its not all the time or anything and it's still a fun story but sometimes I have to scratch my head and go, really? Other than those small issues I really enjoy reading this so give it a shot!
