I really enjoyed the tightly constructed yet vivid descriptions. The author has a clear knack for creating atmosphere and suspense. She counterbalanced a mundane activity (singing in the rain) with a supernatural horror. I'm looking forward to reading more. I know longer works get all the attention; thanks for keeping it short.

A short story about a girl and her walking towards her home on a particular rainy day, she regrets not letting her friends dropping her off in front of her house, but even when its raining you certainly you dont expect what is coming for her to be hiding in the water.

This was really good. Horror is a tough subject in the short story format and this works. Not sure if it is my Navi-ptsd talking, but every time 'listen' comes up it rattles around with that expectation of either actually hearing it or continuing to ignore its very existence for my sanity. Either way. It played on that childhood memory and was creepy! Very nice.

It was a nice short story! I would as always like a bit more but beggars can't be choosers.
Characters or just character in this case, is rather good and i like her. Story is ok not much to say.
Overall it is nice but not something for me, even if it was longer.
