Description

Legends might die, but their power never fades. Ezra was born an unwanted son to an ill prostitute. She died when he was young and left him in the slums of a small town, leaving him only with dreams of filling his belly and keep himself from freezing. As he grew, though, stories of Knights filled his mind and consumed his dreams. Even so, he knew he'd never be able to become one. That is, until he had a dream. A dream of a man that wasn't a Knight, but something more, a Master. Then, that man, Jormun, died, and his shade has decided to take Ezra in as a protege. I rather like the premise the story is founded upon, and it’s truly interesting to watch it unfold. It’s nice seeing a young man act like a young man instead of like an old man. The character of the hero is well developed also, and the author has done a good job illustrating his strengths and his weaknesses.
This story is worth reading because the author takes their time to develop things without drawing them out excessively. Plus the prose is fun to read too.

So far this has gone well. The plot line seems to be developing a little slower than the characters and, at early stages, which is exactly what you want.
The main character has decent potential and I wouldn't mind seeing more of the weapon master's character growth/ arc for this phase of his.... life....afterlife... actually why the heck is he here. Is here the same planet as the intro. You know what .... i guess I'll just wait and see

Really enjoyed the early chapters 1-10 MC background and foundation. Looking forward to how "aura" strengthens and shapes the MC's development and progression! The supporting ghost mentor is from either a different place or time, but is unclear which or both so far. But the mentors demise on life is driving him to develop the MC.
