"Track down the allborn and bring them to me. Save the world, Haras, and I will save your Ada." - The Faceless Wizard.

When the world of Nerïm is shattered by a powerful comet strike, the mercenary known as Haras the Halorcen is hired by an unknown wizard to bring the magical beings birthed from the comet strike to the wizard in the hopes of restoring Nerïm and resurrecting his wife.

Being tasked with such a mission would take its toll on any man. The allborn are powerful creatures of pure magic, able to do almost anything they put their mind to. But they are also new to the world. Newborns in need of a caretaker. And how do you raise a creature that could wipe you from existence with a snap of their fingers?

A World Asunder: Daughters of the Everdark is the first of three books chronicling the final years of the world Nerïm.

This is a very compelling read, and you should give it a chance!
The story so far is interesting, beginning as a standard fantasy, but very soon, the setting and world become something new and somewhat unique with some really interesting ideas.
It offers a few compelling characters, and a couple of chapters in, you'll have a favourite or two. All of them have their flows and feel like real people, and their dialogue feels natural. On top of that, the world-building is superb, making the overall impression of both the story and characters a very positive one. Although normally it might appear easy to draw a line and say who are the villains and heroes of the story, things aren't as black and white in this one. Every single character is driven by their personal beliefs and values, and it's all done masterfully. The only reason I'm not going into specifics regarding individual characters is that they have to be experienced without bias.
As for grammar - it's good. There are a few mistakes/typos here and there, but they are far between to be noticed unless you're actively looking for them.
And finally, the style. Although it can be summarised as generic, that is in no way a bad thing because it works for this kind of story.

After a few pages you're just forced too keep on reading the intruiging adventure...
I love the worldbuilding and can easily imaging a movie or open world game franchise resulting from this fantasy book. I hope you'll continue the solid work - I would definitely read more books coming out of this world build
