    This story has managed to catch my attention, generally this type of story tend to be a comedy or the mc is given a cheat skill or memories conveniently but you avoided this and have your mc actually working to get everything, I especially like that the other characters are not 2 dimensional.

    I like the background of the protagonist. It's very unique. Basically instead of modern earth, it is an Earth where true qi no longer exists and it is pure sci fi with "artificial qi" that is worse than true qi but they have history books about true qi. The protagonist is an Alchemist teaching assistant at a college when he dies.
    The grammar well above average.
    My only complaint is that the character interactions don't make much sense.
    When the protagonist returned to the mountain, the disciples were openly hostile, but still servile? That doesn't really make sense to me. Those are contradictory.
    Edit: in the latest chapter it is explained but that is super late imo.
