. . . . . . . . . - ExcaliburRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0but you should have made that last one 1 wish and asked to be able to see mana because that will be a massive boost to the "OP-ness"
- Idek11Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0i really like the story and the characters, the abilities are pretty nice, but the grammar is pretty rough tho like cmon just read better lmfao. sachi deserves the best. and her classmates and opposing gods deserve the worst. im excited to see whats next, especially for volume 12, where the good stuff will happen.
- Meepington9Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0Great story much mental shenanigans. Protagonist gets mentally reforged many times.Great story building, and great character building. The about sums it up. The world is great and fun but also realistic. Characters have a good amount of depth. The world is kinda realistic which some people might dislike. Second volume is not for people who dislike philosophy and contemplating the reason that we and I exist.
- theLoneGunRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0yae i was going to make him more Op but i want hime to grow and get op not Op from the start i want make a long one
- WobgoyRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0(4/5 stars cause I don't want to hurt the author
actual rating 1/5)
This feels like the parody of a shonen isekai.
Every bad part of the genre is present and amplified to the extreme:
- neverending shonen fights with people that just never stop talking in circles and repeating themselves like a broken disk. A fight that should have lasted half a page becomes an entire chapter, because people have to keep repeating themselves ad nauseam (with the occasional flashback or character development allucination)
- characters can never speak plainly. Even the most straightforward concept becomes a bloated mess. It's like in mangas where people have to speak in riddles and platitudes, doubt themselves, do stupid sketches and repeating what the other person said before asking for confirmation; all of this circus just to order a coffee. Here, those theatrics are taken to the extreme
- Up to volume 5, our protagonist has met 6 side characters, 4 of those being young girls (relatively young). Each of these 4 have almost an entire dedicated volume going like this: girl meets MC; they get along; girl doesn't want to be a weight for some reason and drag the MC down; girl runs away while MC is sleeping; girl runs into trouble alone; MC comes to the rescue; corny dialogue.
- weak world-building
- japanese sexual strangeness everywhere, with a woman adopting our underage protagonist before sexually harrassing her (but it's "funny" so I guess that makes it ok)
- cartoonish antagonists, evil for the sake of being evil (at times going against their own interests just to be so very evil)
- awful grammar, worse than any amateur translation i've ever read, and that never gets better. I usually don't care about it, but when I just can't understand what's written so often, that's a problem
I'm sorry that this review has to be so negative. The author is probably very young and it was a brave thing to publish here.
Also, the story is entertaining enough and with heavy editing it could be pretty - PoeticHarmonyRoyal Road★★★★ 3.5This story is difficult to get through, especially in the beginning, however it does improve. Yet, even at volume 6, syntax and diction is still a problem. After volume 1, you can get a feel for how the author words the story, but if you are like me and read several different stories simultaneously, then coming back presents with the same challenge all over again.
The MC backstory and current life are also troubling in that there is a lot of physical and mental abuse and trauma, with the addition of sexual abuse or ideation in her new life. She presents as a very troubled teen with fear of abandonment and a need to save those 'weaker' than herself. Having grown strong rather quickly, everyone is ultimately 'weaker' than her, thus leading her to feel the need to protect.
It does have potential.
I was drawn by the original idea of being reincarnated as a spider, but that arc does not last long, hence the name change (I presume). And although I don't usually care for OP MCs, this MC does not abuse her power. In fact, she limits it as needed, which is a welcome aspect in my opinion.
The MCs rival classmates also grow and change, or at least a few do, as shown in a few various POV chapters, while the Gods are rather stagnant, or stuck in their ways. This is to be expected since Gods live for many years while the kids have only just begun their spiritual journey, being only on their second life so far. Even though they are spiritually twice their physical age, they have yet to experience adulthood and are in effect still learning.
I'm not done with this review yet, but I will have to continue later. - borgrelRoyal Road★★★ 3.0I just tried reading the prologue.
I couldn't even get half way... There are missing words, words out of order, sentences out of order.
It feels like it's written by a non native English speaker. Please get a proof reader or editor.
The story seems like it has potential but it's hidden behind the lack of language skill or perhaps a simple lack of a proofread - green_nightmareRoyal Road★★★ 2.5Well what else is there to say when the title says pretty much all you need to know. Now you will say 'hey the story is totally not like that.' Well with volume 2 you should notice that change. The battles are pretty well written even if she could ignore most of them since non of them stop her from just leaving expect plot reason.
exp. Fenrir : noticed that she teleported her cubicles around to topple the trees? Could have easliy just teleported to the edge of the forest before the anti-teleport barrier go through it and then teleport somewhere else. One notices that there is little to stop her from just running away.
in the dungeon there also is nothing saying she needs to kill everything to go to the next floor. Seems like plenty didn't notice her for quite some time could just run/teleport to the next 'teleport door'
And let's not talk about her strange physique as a spider. When 1 of 8 legs slip the rest of her legs loss all traction, eyelids, a nose,a mouth and jaw, willy-nilly spider senses that work sometimes or not
yes i talk specifically about the time where a huge bettle was able to just fly to her to ram her around. Her vibration sensitive leg-hair should have easily notices the incoming bettle.
, wonky physics that make little sense, characters that don't follow basic traits
Astreas Goddess of JUSTICE not any better than a school delinquent
she even choose to bond with one that based on plot is 'compatible' with her.
,inability to choose a metric system, let's not talk about the random philosophy inserts and lastly grammar that is questionable that breaks the flow of the story.
Well that is all i can say about this story hope there will be corrections since some parts would be rather easily corrected. - XeosLoliconRoyal Road★★ 1.5okay first this is kumo desu ga nani ka with some flavor to make it a bit different
then second ¿urza? said protagonist is her daugther but world god whatever said she is a descendant of urza's child so which is it?
i ignore the spider part someone else pointed out cause fantasy idc if u put a dog character that walks in 2 legs why would i care if a spider does or does not have eyelids whatever seriously
third i feel genuinely that this story can be good but i cant shake the feeling things are a bit to bad written explained or outright changed, i explain: mc personality jumps sometimes in different ways, the previous mentioned urzas issue and the last issue would be how much the story changes topics too often making it hard to stay interested on whats is being said in different parts
