Description

After an ordinary day turns catastrophic, Aldrich finds himself in a situation beyond comprehension. Pulled from his gaming haven into a surreal and confined new existence, he’s thrust into a second chance at life—but not in the way anyone could have imagined. With a mysterious system interface guiding him, Aldrich must navigate his new reality's strange and unexpected challenges, beginning with the ultimate test of patience and adaptability. In this fresh start, he vows to make every moment count, no matter how unconventional the journey ahead might be.

Soon, however, he discovers he’s not the only one bound to the system. Others have begun to appear—players, just like he once was. Their presence raises questions he can't ignore: Why are they here? Who brought them? And what role is he meant to play now that the lines between game and reality are beginning to blur?

The summary tells you nothing about it, but that kinda tells you all you need to know. Basic isekai game nerd is reincarnated into a new world and gets classed as a blacksmith as a baby. The system uses weirdly small number increments. He equips cloth armor and there is no visible change noticed by his maid so equipment is just stat midifiers not actual equipment. And finally he is nerfed at birth which counteracts his one starting advantage. It's just so painfully generic that none of that is interesting enough to set it apart.

If you're looking for a satisfying fantasy story with enjoyable characters and a developed world... this isn't the story for you. I'll start with the positives: the author sows seeds for world building, with different races and an interesting conflict with some of them. The grammar's good and won't make you want to pull you hair out whilst reading (That's more than I can say about a lot of stories nowadays lol). The parents seem to be loving, but there isn't much development of them as characters yet.
Now, for the negatives. The system is wishy-washy, telling the mc some stuff of importance and sometimes, just not telling the mc anything- it just serves to move the plot along at a steady pace and increase the mcs power. It also has a weird lottery sub-system that appears every now and then to give the mc buffs that servre to increase his power. The system uses super small numbers for the stats some odd reason. The mc is consistently glazes himself, which gets a bit annoying after a while. He chooses a blacksmith class, but somehow it has attack skills (and a magic skill) which doesn't really make sense. If you wanted him to be a combatant, there are other ways to make that work.
The story does have a foundation of something great, but it doesn't execute it well. It's fun to read with your brain off, but that's about it.
