Description

It doesn’t matter how terrifying dreams get, so long as they stay dreams.

When Garrett comes to after a close brush with death, he realizes that he’s in a new world, and worse, he’s missing an arm and paralyzed from the waist down. A fact that doesn’t deter the brutal gang lord whose floor he’s crashing on from wanting to throw him out into the street. The only thing standing between Garret and a cold death at the mercy of the city’s scavengers is a plucky young woman, and his own wits.

Armed with a system that gives him experience for exploring the new world he is in, Garrett is determined to do whatever it takes to keep himself safe from the threats that press in all around him. Even if it means becoming a villain.

But the inn and city are far from what they seem. Terrifying creatures lurk around every corner, waiting to prey on the unwary, and there is no weapon that can stop them. A strange lucid Dream world hovers on the edge of Garrett's consciousness, and it isn’t content to stay a dream. When it starts bleeding into the real world, Garret realizes that the hostile gangs around him are the least of his worries.

The masters are creepy and dark. The politics and social maneuvering is even fun. Look forward to more in the future.

By far the author's best work. The setting is unique while also relatable. The MC is also interesting and refreshing. I want to keep reading more and more.  I can't wait for tomorrow's release. I also hope that the author dives into the dream more and explores the other dream lords that exist in the world.

I was enjoying this one enough to join Patreon to continue reading.  Unfortunately, it seems like between some harsh reviews and personal issues, the author has put this on hiatus.  I haven't gotten to any of Seth's other books yet since I am keeping up with far to many.  When you read weekly chapters of 10-20 webnovels you sometimes miss out on details you wouldn't in a full read through.  I went back over this one again after it went on hiatus, and it read even better in a good binge read.  I really hope this one comes back soon.  I've read some decent grimdark/horror webnovels on RR, but this is up there with Father of Monstrosity for me.  (Sovereign of Monstrosity soon pls)

Books are my favorite hobby for one reason, and one reason only. There is no limit to what a human mind can create. Mine isn't a creative one, but it sure loves reading what creative minds have made. This is a very nice piece of work. Uses some story elements that have become more common throughout the years, but does it in a new way, in a new world, with new characters. Love it.

I've been following this series right from book 1 and I have to say that I'll be here a while longer. I don't usually go for dark/horror themes but this is so masterfully done that I can't really complain.
MC starts from what most would consider less than nothing and is steadily building himself a Kingdom. The system element in this story is also cleverly done. It feels more like tapping the hidden mysteries of the world than a forceful thing imposed as a crutch for the MC (as most do).
I have lots more to say but few words to say them in but it is a full 5***** from me. Book deserves it!
Ps. MC is most definitely a villain but a very unusual one with his own moral core and principles

Dreamers Throne was a breathe of fresh air.  I found it on a list of progression fantasy reads that feel different or original for serial readers of the genre (so many stories often feel very derivative and samey).   It absolutely provided that feeling of something new for me.  The primary conceit of the story is essentially that the MC is very vulnerable physically and his path to power lies through manipulation, information gathering, planning, and clever management of people.  Listened to the first few books on audible and the narrator did a great job there, perfect voice.  When I read the most recent book on RR his voice was stuck in my head.  Check this one out.

An MC who is always thinking a few steps ahead of the reader, without giving the feeling of being to dumb to follow.
Also generally a cast of "good Guys" that one wants to see being successful.
Well done, this is a great Book 1.
    Looking forward to more!
    The only criticism:
Seth Ring has me hooked on 3 different Books!

I really liked it and as I got closer to the end of the current chapters I kept wanting there to be more like when your having your favourite dessert so you take your time eating, bit by bit.
The story is rather refreshing unlike half the crap that is trending on royal road. So far from what I have seen no cliche tropes have been used so far.
    Characters have depth.

MC is severely disabled and fully dependant on others for survival he uses his intellect, experience from two lives and newly awakened talent to get by in his current circumstances.
General magical setting appears to be somewhat simple yet elegant system where people awaken their magical talent to one of few options - hints at great potential and with general users being somewhat powerful but not walking demi-gods powerful.
What is more novel in this work is the use of Dream which appears to be a new plane or phased plane boundaring the real world but at the same time is covered in heavy mist/fog. Chairbound MC needs to discover new locations via this dream to accomplish his goals as his mobility is not what it used to be. This is also dangerous plane full of nightmarish monsters but also allows MC to interact with dreams of people he can reach with his magic.
The book so far appears to be well written. Ideas or at least combinations appear fresh or have enough twist that they are still interesting even if you read 100 other works with setting of medieval like fantasy with transmigration/possession etc.
I would recommend reading this but I am very disappointed that I found it so early on....will have to wait for new chapters instead of binge reading all of them in few months time.

Let me start by saying the Blaise is one of my favorite Authors in the litrpg/gamelit/cultivation genre. When I first read his Delvers series, I became a fan (absolutely Loved the Nora Hazard trilogy), but when he wrote the Apocalypse Cultivation books, I became an addict.
I was a little heartbroken after the second book, when it seemed like he might have moved onto other things or collaborations (I still read and enjoyed almost all of them). Then I stumbled onto the Sponsored Apocalypse book when it released to Amazon. I grabbed it, expecting yet another wonderful new book, but then the link to Apocalypse Cultivation was revealed and I was floored.
That was when I began hunting for even more links. I wasn’t even aware he had a RR presence until then (I’d only ever followed releases on Amazon), but I was overjoyed to discover this series. I’m now just about halfway through book 2 and have enjoyed nearly every minute of it. All the nods and hints to the other series bring a smile to my face with every page. It has the same quality that I love in King and Lovecraft’s writing that take multiple unique stories and build a proper Mythos of lore, where each new tale builds upon the last, and it becomes more than just the sum of its parts.
The RoyalRoad release for this series has also helped in drawing out my enjoyment of the multiverse bit by bit rather than just waiting for the next full book release, so I hope at least one of the multiverse series continues to be released this way.
Thank you, Blaise. Please keep writing, and I’ll keep reading!
