- TargetedandfiringRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Sorry about all the hate you've been getting. Can't wait until you post the rest of the chapters. This story has been a great read. I don't usually care too much about comedy in fics I read but your humor landed well with me without taking away from the story. I think this is one of the better Snape fics out there.

if you like the first few chapters then you might as well finish this fun romp. A full complete tale is told with sufficient build up, excitement, and satisfying ending. I finished all the chapters in one sitting, you might too. - Der_TerminRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Its a fan fiction and I don't care how good they are written especially as I'm not really a writer myself but as a reader I can't say that there was a single chapter that bored me, the pacing if all over the place works for me and my ADHD brain perfectly. While the characters are shallow we all should know the originals and can make up the holes that are left here and there. My only real critic is that it's a very short story with lot of potential to explore principles that are touched briefly, but at the same time it's a pain in the ass to write about stuff that isn't clearly established in the original work and though just flirting with the concepts is more than acceptable. As a fan of never ending story's or epic tales that span word counts that are long enough to fill small libraries on there own it's more myself that struggles with the short story then the story itself.
I need to fill the 200 word quote tho here just some random shit:
1. I read the hole story in a day and it was a nice experience very pleasant with how the story flows.
2. Sometimes certain things just get a quick note without the proper time to delve into how or why something is possible.
3. The ending is abrupt and fast paced with unnecessary complications but that is the authors choice and I won't criticise on personal preference with the reasoning the author gave to finish the story
4.All in all probably the best isekai self insert fan fiction of the Harry Potter universe I read by a long shot.
5. I absolutely love that we didn't get another toxic masculine op MC for this story like so many others have been writing. - Lucian GreyRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0This fanfiction is refreshing compared yo other Severus SI fic, which contains either a simp Severus or canon Severus with additional knowledge rather than SI. This MC has his own freedom and humour in a messed up situation with less emotional baggage. It would make you laugh out loud at the same time make you want to know how it will end.
- AzterielRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I like to consider myself well read when it comes to Harry Potter fanfiction. Naturally, this makes it difficult to find new perspectives and plotlines. This story brings an intense perspective of Snape's Death Eater days, carefully navigating the temper of the Dark Lord while simultaneously working against him. It is a fun and intense twist, which is well written, thought-out and intriguing. Highly recommend.
- RznRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5This story was interesting from the get-go and yes, SI and power fantasy have their genres so I cannot really fault them for playing into established tropes and structure. However, I can note that the story's last third is rushed and makes less and less sense in the need to bring the story to a conclusion.
One point that troubled me at all is the fixing of the hair, for someone who was so intelligent and determined, it did a disservice to Snape to have it be fixed. The whole idea of a makeover of the self and of ideas goes with the genre, but that was when 'being Snape' died. The tension of the story kind of falters and while it does come to an ending, it was weaker than it could have been. The fact it finished at all is something that has to be commended and dealing with a complicated setting and trying to be original can be a struggle. I liked it and readers who know what to expect should like it as well. - LoubadouRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5Hey, this is an entertaining fanfiction story! The characters are interesting and the ideas to disrupt Voldemort's operations are something I have not seen before.
Some hopefully constructive feedback. Feel free to ignore. Maybe I am describing things you intended or missed something when reading:
It feels like Snape/Marquas is only interacting with very few people, but the dialogues are entertaining.
It does not really feel like Snape is struggling with finding solutions to his problems. They just happen.
At some point, Regulus start calling Snape Marquas, which from my understanding is not a name he should know. It is closely before you posted that you are going to release everything at once.
Also as a dev myself, advanced teaching and chemistry knowledge is not something I think devs usually have, so I did not get why Marquas is so good at this.
Thanks for writing the story! - Mcknight5206Royal Road★★★★ 4.0fun quick and complete. I enjoyed it and would recommend as a light read.

How arrogance in ability and foreknowledge can drastically change how the story progresses.
While the overall writing was good, the ending felt rushed and sporadic. The final parts or chapters were more summaries and important plot points rather than the slow build up from the beginning chapters.
if you are a fan of Severus Snape or SI style characters, then this is a good read. - Reading JunkieRoyal Road★★★★ 3.5Up through chapter 24, this is a solid 4☆, possibly 5☆ story. The final chapters worked, and I expect those who enjoy shoen stories and gritty fighting will enjoy through the end of the climax. No stars lost for the difference in taste.
The epilog is where the story lost stars for me, and I debated about rating at all. From a stylistic sense, while it gave closure to the story, it also ended the story on a rushed note, feeling more like an outline reworked to avoid using bullet point lists. As surgeons and speech writers have learned, the ending has an outsized effect on the memory of an event.
And a personal nitpick.
I give a lot of side eye to spring- winter romances because I'm more than a decade younger than my husband. It means other people in similar relationships feel safe to talk about their experiences, and the broad consensus is that romances that start - even as simple attraction no one acts on - before the younger party has a decent experience base as an adult are not healthy, for either partner. The dynamic itself, regardless of either partner's intent, stunts the younger partner's emotional maturity and forces the older partner to take on a parental role that really needs to stay out of any sexual relationship.
I get the desire to ship characters based more on our emotional investment in them than their cannonical state. I can't over look the age difference.
