Gods Above and Ghouls Below

The world above is the realm of the gods. The world below houses horrors and ghouls. 'Tis in the in between that men dwell. The balance has been maintained for thousands of millennia. But now dark clouds gather on the horizon. Dire deeds are heralded by prophecy. Whatever fate lies in store for this world must be terrible. Why else would the gods be so worried? So unsettled.
