Description

A Slow-Burn Sci-Fi Epicinspired by the world ofBrian Jacques'Redwall.

Mood:Woodland creatures in a cyberpunk world. Cozy feasts. Corpo-Feudalism. Gargantuan megastructures, and the battles to take them.

The forests disappear. The oceans are devoid of life. The atmosphere simmers with heat and storm.

The climate is irreversibly changed. The storms grow too great for animals to survive, even in the fortified cities. To take full advantage of the displacement of billions, corporate lords constructZiggurats--massive pyramid megastructures built from endless strip-mined stone.

Storm after storm proves that these imposing structures are the only thing that will survive the destruction, while desperation makes monsters of those outside.

Space is at a premium. The stars are out of reach. Technology stalls--plagues appear in the deep liminal halls of the Ziggurats. And across the world, market demand is clear.

Life is worthless.

Power is priceless.

And the Ziggurat pyramids outlast it all.

This is a slow, slow, slow burn, with lots of world building and a great many character POVs that will evolve in complexity and importance over time.

No AI (except for the cover image).
